Let's start with the best part. This Homland Toilet Safety Rail is 75% already assembled when you open the box. Just pop in the four legs, connect the two sides together, snap on the toilet paper holder, and Velcro the magazine holder in place, and you're done. The four legs are shipped with suction cups on the bottom, which is how I preferred them. You can easily replace two of the suction cups with included rubber pads by partially unscrewing the suction cup retainers, peeling the cups off, and snapping the rubber pads into place. The entire assembly took me about six minutes, and I did not have to refer to the included instructions a single time. Once assembled, the safety rail is sturdy, with the expected amount of wobble, but not enough to warrant any concern. It has been used every day, multiple times a day, without a problem, and is still sticking solidly to the floor. Five stars for the quality of materials and the ease of assembly!

This toilet frame is built like a tank. Once everything is assembled the frame is rigid. All the pieces go together nicely and support my 240lb weight. A 77 year old with mobility issues will be using this. The handles help get them a little extra leverage when getting up and down off the John. The legs also have a wide range of adjustment. This allows you to get the handles at just the right height to be ideal for the user. You can also adapt the height over time as the use’s strength might change. The handles have thick padding that prevents any irritation to the hands. Lastly, the suction cups on the bottom of the legs are very strong. If you have a smooth floor they do A great job holding the frame in place. I was skeptical until I tried them and they work great. This is a solid investment for anybody that needs a little help getting up and down.

Assembly and setup were very easy. The instructions were minimal, could use a little more detail. The item seems well made and fairly sturdy. The large suction cup feet did not work well on my tile floor, so I used the smaller caps. It does provide helpful support for sitting and standing, with just a bit of wobble. The fact that it can be easily moved out of the way is a benefit in a small bathroom like mine.

Quality home healthcare equipment! Easy to assemble (according to my to my spouse who put it together)! It offers heavy-duty, adjustable sturdiness without requiring permanent installation! Once I became accustomed to this device it's proven to be very helpful! ***Attached to this review you'll see two versions of one photo! One version of the photo features descriptive text & some erased items (a small trash can, the floor tile seam, & a water valve). The other version is the original photo without any edits & or text! I wanted to be sure to clarify this to avoid any suspicion of alterations to the product itself! The only thing I'd wanted to get rid of was that trashcan, tile seam, & water valve 😂 But, alas the important thing is that the stabilizer equipment in the photo is depicted properly! Cosmetically the stabilizer is bulky for a small bathroom, and it took time to get it comfortably adjusted. Trivial stuff aside, the important thing is that this piece of home healthcare equipment is safe, convenient, and I highly recommend it for anyone in need of a product such as this one!

This is a necessary item to have when someone is recovering from surgery or when they have mobility issues. We had one toilet rail for my mom, who is recovering from surgery, but ended up ordering this one to be in the other bathroom so we don't have to move a rail between them. But the nice thing about this style is that you CAN move it, and you can fold it or disassemble for storage when you no longer need it. I like that it can be adjusted in height or width, and that it has a toilet paper holder and a magazine holder. I like this rail better than the other one we bought. It's easy to assemble and very sturdy.

This safety rail easily snapped together in a matter of several minutes and is easily adjustable. It came with a small flat bag and paper holder. However, it’s wobbly despite the wide feet and moves because they won’t stick to the tile floor for more than a few seconds at all. Even when the large suction feet are placed in the middle of the tile, they will not stick. I can’t see how this will be stable when it moves around. The smaller provided feet do not make a difference. This seems like a safety hazard for the impaired in our home. The only way we can use this is to duck tape it to the floor. Thumbs down!

This has been an actual lifesaver for my mom being able to comfortably get up and down using this. This was very easy to assemble since there is no extra tools needed, and it comes together with all the parts that you need. My mom has been using this for a couple of weeks and it is made life fairly easy for her now. Especially since it sits nicely around the toilet. And I also like that it comes with a place to put toilet paper so it'll be easy for her to reach. Overall, I would recommend this.

So the HOMLAND Toilet Safety Rail is a wonderful solution if you don't want to permanently install grab bars around a toilet. It is also better than a couple other toilet assist units we've tried for my mom. Even though we have chair height toilets, when she visits us she has a difficult time getting up from the toilet. This was very easy to put together, is adjustable both height and width, fit well against the back of the toilet allowing us to still use the toilet seat cover, and she said that she felt very secure using it to assist her into a standing or even a seated position. I love that I didn't have to drill holes into my wall and this can easily be removed when she is not visiting.
