I was immediately very impressed by how quiet this fan is. I bought it for my work-at-home work station. My wife promptly stole it from me. So I ordered another one. The fan is very quiet, especially at lower speeds. But even at top speed, it's still fairly quiet. The two fans run at essentially the same speed, but they are not synchronized, so sometimes there is a mild "interference beats" effect. I hardly ever notice that, but when it happens, I just nudge the speed a bit and it goes away. The hardware is very robust. The clamp holds very securely. The fans can be aimed independently over a wide range of angles. The power adapter plugs into the bottom of the controller and I had a tendency to pull it out by accident with my foot under the table where I have it plugged in. But I solved that by twisting the cable around the top of the controller as shown in the photo I attached. The blue LED is on all the time it's plugged in even if the fan is switched off. That helps you find the switch in the dark. If that bugs you, you could cover it with a piece of tape. ---- adding more. After a few weeks, I now have three. But two of them stopped working abruptly and had to be exchanged. Seems to be a problem with the controller. Obviously I'm not completely sure about that. I still like them a lot when they are working. ... show more

Uses low voltage, not much power draw. Used it to keep air circulation in a makeshift greenhouse. Doesn’t put out a lot of CFM but it has been running non stop for over a year and still going strong.

The air flow from the fan is great. Unfortunately the fan showed up unpacked in a crushed box. The only real problem I see with this fan is switch placement. My intention was to place it on my office monitor, but due to no switch on the fan it’s not feasible. The switch is located close to the end of the cord which makes this fan unusable in many scenarios. ... show more

What I like most about this fan is that the heads of the fans can be rotated and turned to point in virtually any direction. Fan is strong and makes a good breeze considering how small they are. They do make a high pitched whirring sound that can be annoying, especially at full speed. I love that it can be a traditional plug in unit or usb. Very versatile. Whoever assembled the fan I received did not use the correct power control box. It can only be used in a 12v DC outlet. It came with the 110v AC adapter, but the power control box has no place for it to be plugged in as the 12v DC cable does not UNplug. I cannot use this in my vehicle as the 12v does not work unless the engine is on. And of course I cannot plug it into 110v as it doesn’t have the ability to. I now have to purchase a 110v AC to 12v DC adapter. Update: using both a 110v AC to 12v DC adapter and the 12v plug in the vehicle, fan does not even receive power (LED doesn’t light up).
