Huge fan of this product! Bought for my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee with captain seats in the back. Well designed, sturdy, hard bottom that doesn’t cave in with my 72 lb pittie in it. I added blankets for comfort. I got her the small size and she can lay down comfortably while still being secure in the seat. Several reviews reported problems with the zipper, I have had no issues and it zips easily. I could see this maybe being a problem if the seat is secured too tightly to the headrests causing a pull in the fabric? But again, no issues for me to report in that regard. I highly recommend this product. It safely contains your dog, easy to install or take out, and fits perfectly in a captains seat (or a single seat if you have a standard 3 seat back). I also love the ventilated sides allowing air flow as we live in Florida and it’s hot! This is far superior to the standard back seat dog hammocks that I had always used before.

10 out of 10 recommend to anyone! My girl has awful anxiety of instability in the car . The trunk is too much space to feel stable & we all know the seats unevenness is awful for dogs trying to stay in place. This is the absolute perfect solution! She’s a 70 pounds shepherd mix & i had fingers crossed she’d fit in the single seat size (Medium) .. it’s perfect! Plenty of room for her to lay down & between the proximity to me and the high walls , she seems so secure & safe! I can easily take it in out with ease & it seems her shepherd hair doesn’t stick to it. I don’t do reviews often but this was an instant 5 star find! [ 2025 LexusRX for size reference ]

**Note: only works with SUVs or vehicles with a larger back seat! I drive a Model Y and it fits snug but well. I’m not sure if this would have fit in my old Model 3. I know someone who this did not fit in their VW Golf Sportwagen. I have been using dog hammocks for years, but when our baby came along, the full backseat hammock suddenly didn’t work so well anymore. Sure, you can fold it over on one end, but my dog sheds a lot (photo evidence LOL), so having one side open just created a path for her fur to blow over the side and up under the hammock, making cleaning even more of a nightmare. Since I’m fortunate I can take my dog with me to work, I needed a more “permanent” solution to allow her to ride in the back every day, while also leaving room for our toddler and his Evenflo 360 Slim rotating car seat. When I searched “half hammock,” this was one of the solutions that popped up. What I love even more than if being a half a hammock, though, is that the bottom is hard! My pup was always unsteady in the back seat, and cutting her space in half made me feel even worse about that. But, she actually seems happier in this hard-bottomed half hammock than she ever did in the soft ones! She is a lot more relaxed and comfortable having the hard bottom. Pros: - Half size so people or car seats can fit next to it (works with Evenflo 360 Slim) - Hard bottom gives dog more room, stability, and comfort - Manufacturer added some nice features like optional piping around the top to create a true square shape - Pockets for storage - Multiple buckle positions, so you can alternate it from one side of the car to the other easily - Mesh sides to allow ventilation into the dog’s seating area (hammocks can tend to cut off the airflow, especially in hotter months - this doesn’t!) - Easier to clean and vacuum pet hair off of than other hammocks I’ve owned (hair doesn’t embed as easily) - Nice attention to detail overall with piping, stitching, and Velcro covers around the corners - Good fit for SUVs, trucks, or other vehicles with larger back seats (does work with Model Y both 5 and 7 seat configuration) Cons: - Rigid and can be a bit difficult to zip up (unzipping is no problem) - Does not work in smaller vehicles Overall, highly recommend! I think the “daily commuter” actually using it would agree. ;)

I was on the lookout for something that 1. left one seat open for my 6 year olds carseat 2. could fit my 100lb American Staffordshire terrier 3. my dog couldn't get out of and to the other parts of the car easily (like some of the "bed" style options I've seen) 4. was able to fit in my vehicle, 2017 Honda Fit EX My choices were very limited and I decided to give this one a try based on the other reviews! It checks all my boxes and the price wasn't too bad either. Tho we haven't actually used it, it feels sturdy and looks like it will be easy to clean. It was easy to install and still leaves enough room for me to buckle my son in (tho he might have a hard time buckling himself in with it, not sure yet) Cons: -like others have said, the zippers are very hard to zip up! Thankfully this shouldn't be a huge issue for us as I think just the Velcro will be fine to keep my dog contained when he tags along and I plan to keep it installed in my vehicle all the time so the inside zippers I only had to do once, but if you plan to take it out a lot or need the outside zippers to be up every time....this might not work for you! (This is the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars!!) -I wish there was a way to use the seatbelt of the car for an extra level of security. -the straps loosen easily when pulled on -i wish the outside panel didn't have a mesh part on it as I can see that ripping from my dog climbing in and out, and it allows sand to fall through and into your vehicle when they climb up Other than those few things I am very happy with it and it works for what we need it for! (will definitely update if that changes!) 😁

I’ve had the TKYZ Large Dog Car Seat for about 6 months now and use it pretty often for my 75-pound, 6-month-old Cane Corso puppy. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It fits securely in my backseat and does a good job keeping my dog contained and comfortable during rides. Even with a large breed puppy moving around, the seat has held up well and still feels sturdy. One thing I really appreciate is how durable and easy to clean it is. My dog has had a couple bathroom accidents and even vomited in it before, and I was able to clean it up with wet rags and cleaning products without any issues. The material handled it fine and didn’t fall apart or start smelling bad afterward. For anyone with a large dog looking for something sturdy, secure, and easy to maintain, I’d definitely recommend this product.

I ordered this to see it if it work for my explorer captains chairs. They hang a little over edges a little, but so far the bottom hasn’t broken or bent. My pups are 65 & 55 lbs, and they fit in these great. I love that it folds up to store & it installs quite easily. It traps the dog hair & keeps my seats protected. I just ordered a second one for my other pup! My only suggestion is to make the zipper easier to zip. It gets stuck easily.

I love this car protector. It's super durable, looks great, is easy to clean and most importantly keeps my car protected. I have a Mazda 3 so the backseat is pretty compact, and this fit almlst perfectly. I had to remove the board from the bottom and cut the front corner off so it could fit around the back of the center console, which I was able to do with scissors pretty easily despite how strong the marerial is. It's also very easy to give a quick vaccum and wipe down while it's in your car. It's relatively easy to take in and out of your car, but often times I just leave it there unless I'm deep cleaning it or need the backseats fully open. I like how this one allows for one of your back seats to be open rather than taking up all of it.
