Love this dog seat. We bought two of them for our Australian Shepherds. They are perfect for them. I was able to put both seats on the back seat of our Equinox. I had to modify a bit and put one side of a seat under the other so they overlapped just a tiny bit. With the pvc rod that stiffens the side wall it worked great to have the one seat make the barrier between my girls. They tend to get rambunctious with each other, by having separate spaces, I can have them “seat belted” to their harness for safety. Also the sides zip, but also have a Velcro attachment. On the outer sides towards the doors we just used the Velcro to put up the side. Easy up and down. Travel was so easy, safe and comfortable for our pups. The seats are really easy to put in and take out of the car too! 😊 Highly recommended. We love them!

It weighs hardly anything, yet is sturdy enough for our 25 lb pupper. Hard bottom is great, side walls use PVC pipe inserts along the top and are sturdy. Can be used on either side and accommodate 1 backseat passenger in our 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Also comes with restraint/leash to keep your doggo secure. There are similar models, this one is a winner for sure! Assembly isn't difficult, but slightly easier to assemble outside and then put in vehicle... Up to you.

I absolutely love my girl’s new car seat. Prior to this purchase, she would want to sit behind the console of my Town & Country and try to maintain her balance as I drove which as you might imagine was stressful for both of us. Now she is safely secure in her seat, can lean against the seat, and, best of all, she can look out all the windows. At first I thought it would be too big for the captain seats, but it has a strong base that supports her and it fits securely against the side door of the vehicle. She’s a 68 pound lab mix and it’s the perfect size for her. Again, I’m very happy with the purchase. I wish I found it earlier.

Great quality and easy to fit in the car. Perfect if you have a child seat on one side and need a safe place for a medium sized dog. Bad sides are that the metal stick holding the sides are not easy to open when taking in and out the dog. Also, the safety belt that is connected to the car’s neck support feels too stretchy. Would like to have an opening in the bottom to connect the dog to the car’s belt lock.

Should have read the critical reviews more carefully. Zipper is bad quality and seems to get stuck constantly. Base is super hard and also slippery so dog doesn’t feel secure despite the harness. Also the dimension does NOT match what’s written in the description. Will have to return.

This back seat car extender dog bed is sturdily constructed. It was extremely easy to install in the backseat of my Santa Fe. My 73 pound Catahoula leopard dog seems to love it. She can sit in it or lie down easily, and is better contained than just having a regular dog bed, so that she is not likely to fall out upon braking or turning the vehicle sharply. If your dog jumps around a lot, there is also a leash that can be attached to keep them in the bed. You can add bedding of your own to make it more comfortable. Ours is almost like a nest. The sides zip down so that the bed is easily accessed, although my dog just jumps into it. She has more room in the back seat without taking up the entire back seat. am very happy with this purchase, and my dog seems to be too!

Perfect size for my 65lb Labrador. This seat feels sturdy and well built and has so far held up well to multiple long road trips. He loves how secure it feels, the extra seat room it gives him, and how it keeps his bed/blankets from falling off the seat. I also like that it leaves a seat open in the back seat so we can still carry an extra person and he doesn’t infringe on their seat space. The floor of the seat is pretty firm so we put a thick bed in the bottom and that solved the problem. The sides are somewhat inconvenient to zip and unzip every time he gets out but he can easily jump in and out over the side using the open seat next to him, but it’s nice to have the option to unzip and makes moving the seat form car to car relatively easy. Despite how easy it is for him to get in and out of the car seat he definitely prefers riding in his car seat over the regular seat. Overall I really love this seat and plan to buy another.

Our 75 pound German Shepherd dog hated car rides, but she loves them now! Its a little wobbly if she steps outside of where the seat is (to be expected) but she can lay down and move around easily! I have this in a Yukon XL and it fits perfectly.
