We used it to roast marshmallows. Hubby was worried about the big flame, animals with no sense of danger and prescholer, but it was fine. It is very visually appealing and it comes with all but alcohol and marshmallows. It can not be kept outside. If it rains it will fill with water in the area with the blue stones and the container has a type of fabric which is not supposed to get wet. It feels sturdy. Really enjoy using this table top fire pit! I use it in the backyard when I have a small gathering of friends and don’t want a full-blown fire, but would still like the ambiance of a flame and the additional fun a roasting some marshmallows. Only detracted one star because the directions are not clear on what kind of fuel to use. I went on the advice I read in the online description and used rubbing alcohol, which did NOT burn properly.
