Nice little fire pit for patio, or similar, use. As for the directions, two comments: 1. If you put the stones in the pit first and then try to insert the burn cup, you'll have some difficulty. I put the burn cup in first and then added the stones around the outside. 2. The instructions mention a "max fill line" mark. We could not find this line anywhere and just used our best judgement and filled the burn cup slowly until it was clear the top of the cup had been reached. Makes a nice 6 inch blue and yellow flame with bio-ethanol fuel. Haven't tried denatured alcohol yet but that was suggested as an alternative which might be cheaper than $18.00 for a liter of bio-ethanol fuel. ... show more

The item it's self is gorgeous and very sturdy, however, there is not much for instructions. The instructions state to fill the liquid up to the indicated line, well mine has no line that I can see. Also, does not state if the cotton inside the cup ever has to be changed out. If it does there is no way to change it, that I can see. That's why I gave it 3 stars overall. ... show more

I am so happy with this purchase! This was a hit for my Christmas party. I live in a balcony-less condo and this was the perfect way to cook up some s’mores in a safe and fun way, indoors.
