    • IR does NOT line up!!
I really like almost everything about this pair. 2nd brand to try out. First brand had NO optical zoom at all…useless. Keyword is OPTICAL. This model from TKKOK has lots of positive features on the spec list…including an OPTICAL zoom. Camera is not as high of resolution, but the OPTICAL zoom, during the day time, is indeed sharp, and effective. BUT! When zoomed in, in the dark, the IR does not line up with the image area. When zoomed out, the IR is a small spot in the image area. Both IN and OUT, and most of the steps in between are useless. So, in effect, at night, the OPTICAL Zoom is essentially useless, as there is only one zoomed position that the light sort of covers the area. The reason I say it doesn’t really cover the area…it just sort of bleeds over. So as the zoom for the glass and the zoom for the IR are adjusted, which is not really easy to do unless you have the unit on a tripod, the two areas overlap at one point, but the brightest part of the IR is not in the center of the image area…so it sort of works. If the IR lens could be pushed over, it might work. I have contacted Amazon support, and sent vendor a note asking if another unit might be better/correct. Amazon support didn’t know. Still waiting for a response from seller now 4 days later. Hoping I can update with a positive report soon, as after reviewing ~12 models, this was my last option. If this one doesn’t work out, going to hold off on IR Googles for new models to roll out to address some deficiencies. Ideal model needs to: 1. Optical zoom (must have…unless you like going to the zoo to see animals at night) 2. High Resolution Capture - 36mp/4K. 3. Wifi would be great…or at least HDMI output. 4. 8AA batteries (not 6…key for Eneloops to work) or lithium WITH external power support) Several models have some of the above…but when sort the field of those with optical zoom, the field gets a lot smaller, especially when you keep high resolution photographs as important. The first pair I got had 36mp/4K…and the images look great…for wide angle views. But useless for viewing objects in the distance. So, bottom line, unless the seller can sort out of this unit I have is just out of alignment, this one is going back, and I will be waiting for this product to evolve. ... show more

    • First time using Night Vision
This is the first night vision equipment I have used so I have no reference. Unit works as described. In a completely dark room, I can see clearly. Out in the night, it will see as described. No idea on the distance yet. It takes a little practice to set the zoom, focus and IR beam diameter to get a good display. Once set, the display quality is good. When changing the zoom you will have to refocus. Not a problem to do this. Using it at night outside I could illuminate a house probably 100 yards away to see the whole house or zoom in tightly on a side door. No one could have moved through the door without being seen. I will connect it to a external power source instead of feeding it batteries. The manual that comes with the unit has horrible English...... Fun to play around with so far! Case that come with it is nice but not sturdy enough for my liking. Will put it in a Pelican type case for safe keeping. ... show more

    • Poor quality
The first time we tried it it worked. We took it with us for our summer holiday in June and it had failed completely and we could not get it to start or function. I would like to return it bu the return date was in April. I would not recommend this.

    • Decent Value; Nothing Exceptional
Definitely an upgrade from regular binoculars. The video and picture functions work surprisingly well. My biggest complaint so far is that it has a mini HDMI as if you can cast to a tv but I have been unable to get this to work. Not sure if it's a manufacturing defect or if the problem is on my end.

    • Well with the money
Really like this product. Definitely worth the money. All the images are very clear and crisp. And the night vision works just as well. I got this for bird watching and it hasn't let me down yet.

    • Not good for handheld use. Good for fixed distances and on tripod.
This appeared to be s week made device, however its operation was not very good for handheld viewing. Hard to stabilize image since keeping focus was not that easy. If stabilized, as on a tripod and working at fixed distances, it was pretty good. I ran it exclusively on external battery and that worked good. Several hours on range at night hardy dented the 10,000AH battery. I returned it since would be using mostly handheld and not at fixed distances. Too clunky working like that ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Many reviews I read were positive and those that were negative flimsy. I like this product for Armature use. No not military grade but IR is good enough for critters and prowlers. for the Price we both like it during this pandemic leave you more stuff to do at home.

Great price, sturdy feel,nice zoom. But, during night vision mode I couldn't get rid of the Big White light, made seeing almost impossible.
