Got this for my daughters birthday and loved it. For the group of 6 1st grader this was mostly enjoyed by the girls as they chose these and boys mostly did other animals It’s fun and easy to clean up and overall an activity to allow creativity in children The colors are vibrant and easy to mold

I've ordered several different kinds of this air-dry clay for my 4 and 6 year old and this particular set, while a little pricey, was some of the easier to use clay for kids this age. It's sort of "puffy" and stretchy where some of the others I've ordered have been a little stiffer and harder for little hands to work with. On this set as with all of them I warn you: unless the user is an adult (and even then I'm not so sure) you're not going to be able to make the things they show on the box, so if you are using this with little ones just get rid of the box and photos and put the -- many, multi-colored -- pots of clay out with the tools for them to go at creatively as they see fit. There was enough separate pots of clay to make it through three separate play dates, making the price worth it overall.

The kids enjoyed making this bouquet. I am always looking for new crafts for them to do on "boring" days. This kept them entertained for about an hour and made a great conversation piece for visiting family members and friends. Everything you need is in the box just bring your creativity. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Kids of different ages completed this and it was the perfect activity for them all.

A color key was included so you could mix the clay to get the specific color of each design. The instructions showed how to make flowers & exotic leaves & even a bumblebee! Great instructions for an art kit! Each clay came in it's own container with a lid. There was a seal on each clay to keep them moist. The clay is very easy to manipulate & lightweight. My daughter & I had tons of fun making these together!

My daughter is an avid artist and loves anything to do with creating things. This set is no exception. What makes this set so amazing though is not just the HUGE variety of colors of clay and tools and pieces that all comes together, but the instructional booklet that comes with it. There were so many helpful tips and tricks and ideas in the book that really boosted my daughter's clay-making skills to a new level. She LOVED creating the vase and then a whole arrangement of flowers - and everything turned out beautiful! She had some extra clay, so she used it to create some smaller flowers (and a few clay animals as well). The clay dried just like it says it will and now her flowers are perfectly displayed in our home (she even gifted a few to our neighbors). If you have a little "crafty person" in your life - this set would make an amazing gift! Not only because of the size of the set, but because of all the ideas contained in the instructional booklet.
