  • Love this Watch
Finally I have a smartwatch I can be proud to wear. The square smartwatches are so ugly and stupid looking. I have owned probably 10 different smart watches the past 5 years and I have hated all of them. This is simply a well thought out and elegant watch. I am a professional for work and was always embarrassed with how ugly the smartwatch I was wearing looked. The watch is pretty large, but the titanium makes the watch actually relatively light. It does not feel heavy on my wrist. I was able to get it set up pretty quickly and the time adjusted automatically based on the time set on my IPhone. The interface takes a little time to learn, but there are plenty of youtube videos. The only thing I do not like is that the alarm seems to not let you only use vibration. I often wake up early to catch flights and don't want to wake my wife. My past smartwatches worked well for this issue becasue I could totally silence the alarm. I suspect that Tissot may be able to fix this issue by a software update in the future. I'd really like a vibration only alarm. But that is just a small issue overshadowed by a beautiful watch. Bluetooth connection works well and the watch does receive notifications without a hitch. The only health metric I am really interested in is the step count and this watch seems do do that well. If you are on the fence on this one, I suggest you get it now becasue word is going to catch on that this is a great watch. Definitely worth the premium price. ... show more

  • Do not buy it!!!
Very expensive piece of plastic and some metal. Connection with phone working only within 10 feet. Sometimes is disappear directly next to the watch. The battery life is not more than 4 days even after couple hours per day under straight sun. Terrible customer service - never respond. The glass very easy to scratch. Application are also non stabil, randomly switching off and always need to reboot. So, not recomend to anyone!!!!! Stay away from this purchase, waste of money!!! ... show more

  • Disappointed
The Tissot T-touch Connect Solar is an effort from Tissot to make a watch that combines all the physical attributes of a fine Swiss made watch with an original hybridized smartwatch operating system. Tissot gets the first half of that right by giving us a sturdy yet light 47mm watch that boasts a titanium case and sapphire crystal along with a solar array that allegedly keeps the watch operating for up to six months when fully charged. The watch hands respond with lightning speed to input from the pushers, crown and tactile areas of the case. But Tissot spectacularly fails to keep up their smartwatch end of the deal. Of all the various smartwatch categories this phone is equipped with (Meteo, Activity, Connected, Timing, Navigation, T-touch) only two of them actually work. Meteo (weather) displays temperatures that are off by well over 10°. Tissot advises taking the watch off your wrist for 10 minutes for the temperature to be more accurate, but even when doing that I found the temperature to still be substantially off. Activity is a pedometer and calorie tracker. You would think this would be a fairly easy thing to get right as most smartwatches have a pedometer. Not this watch. I was messing with my watch while riding in a car and saw that steps were being counted while I was literally sitting in a car doing nothing. I’m sure that this would create some discrepancies in calories burned. Connected (notifications) never seemed to work right for me. I made sure to verify the watch was paired to my phone and notifications were turned on on the phone and watch, yet messages and alerts that appeared on my phone never appeared on my watch. I did get a phone call that came through on my watch which proves it was definitely paired to my phone. Timing (chronograph/alarm/timer) actually works well. But this function is basically a watch function and not a smartwatch function. Navigation is a compass. This watch doesn’t have a GPS. On my watch, every time I opened the Navigation, it asked for the compass to be calibrated. I would calibrate it and every single time it failed to calibrate. T-touch is basically watch settings. I guess this worked. Other features like the barometer and altimeter may or may not have worked. Some users claim the barometer is drastically off as well. I couldn’t speak from experience as I never verified if either of these were giving accurate readings. In summary, Tissot charges over $1000 for a watch that only comes through on about half of what it’s supposed to do. They give us a great watch but not much of the “smart” to go along with it. Maybe they should stick to just making watches and let other companies handle the software. ... show more

  • Nice watch, had a little bit of a learning curve.
Very nice watch....nice weight and size. Thought it looked a little large at first, but after a few days, I was used to it. The interface for all the menu's on the watch are a little clunky. The Navigation screen only gives me an arrow so far and says "need calibration". I've walked outside, around in circles, still haven't got a successful Calibration. A few little bugs to work out....if you disconnect from your phone, the clock hands go wonky for a minute, and you don't know the time. This should be a seamless transfer for the owner...maybe a notice is okay. Overall, I would recommend this watch. Decent price point for the features, and not another vanilla Apple or Samsung watch. I'll update this review if I find anything better or worse. ... show more

  • Connectivity is near useless
Beautiful watch well built and excellent quality. The t-touch menu is confusing and not intuitive at all. Finding the right screen could take time. No easy way to remember. The connectivity is next to useless. In 2 days got to connect once. After that I tried for several hours without success. The user manual is not helpful. The app is not ready for prime time. It adds little to the wear experience. I sent it back for a refund. May wait till the next generation comes out. ... show more

  • Nothing Worked
Bought the watch but it appears this watch was broken. I could not get the watch to link with the watch and the compass and hiking features did not work.
