Other than the fact that there are one or two tricky places where the bolts go, this was easy to assemble. The price reflects the quality that went into it. And I absolutely love how it looks in my new kitchenette. I would recommend it to anyone considering it. You won't be sorry. It's very stable once assembled. It's definitely helped me organize my kitchenette better. I love that the high shelf goes all the way across. It took us about an hour to put it together and about 35 minutes to fill it up. By far the best Christmas Gift I have gotten in a few years. Exactly what I needed. All the pieces were very clearly marked and the instructions were easy to read until the last part. It wasnt clear about how to put the supports on the back. We did make it work but im sure it is wrong. The shelves are fairly sturdy and able to hold many items. I ordered the natural wood colored unit but it came in black, I am not complaining, it is still functional and impressive. I did not use some of the features such as the wine rack, glass holders, fruit bin. We did not need them. You are definately getting your money's worth with this product. ... show more

Bought this to add storage to a small apartment, it was wide enough to cover a good section of an empty wall, deep enough to hold our microwave and coffee pot. Plenty of storage space, easy to assemble, and very sturdy.

Directions were straight forward. This took me about three hours to put together by myself, but I'm not super fast. Only had one bolt that wouldn't go in straight, but luckily they included extra hardware. I am not a drinker so I didn't install the wine glass holders and instead will have more room for my stand mixer. I am currently renting and have roommates. I needed a place to store my kitchen items that was not in the shared space. This will be perfect. It's a great size and should hold a lot. ... show more

PROS: I am very very surprised with how great this came together. it took me 2 & 1/2 hours with one person handing me pieces. I think anyone could put this together no problem. I have no problem recommending this to anyone. This rack has saved me so much space! I did remove one of the bar racks so that way my microwave isn't on the main shelf. AND you can adjust the leg heights if your floor isn't completely level! CONS: 5 screws got stuck in the "anchors" and came out of the shelf. I had to add glue so make sure you have some on hand. It's not from them being tightened too much. I just don't think they were cored correctly or maybe they didn't put glue in the holes. All in all- this is a great product for anyone who is limited to space, needs a sturdy space to put some kitchen items. Had those anchors not come out, this would have 5 stars NO PROBLEM. ... show more

But be sure to allow yourself a good 3 or 4 hours for assembly. I suppose a young, exceedingly able handyman might be able to assemble it in 2 hours an so. But, while it is quite an elaborate unit, yet it isn't really complicated. Also, n my opinion, the instructions were excellent, and the hardware was of a very good quality. If I had any complaint, it would be for most of the bolts, they only included a standard Allen, key wench. But had I had used that little wrench alone, as provided it would likely have almost doubled my assembly time So instead of manually doing it all, I cut the "L" part off of the hex wrench, and then used the straight part of it like a standard driver, in my cordless drill/driver. So, my suggestion to this outfit would be, for them to consider adding a 5 inch or so Allen hex driver, along with the standard Allan wench. Because I would gladly pay an extra dollar or so, for that item to have been included as a part of the hardware, and the wrenches, etc. One other thing was, at the very end, when I got ready to put the "X" bracing on the back of the frame, I suppose I must have gotten one of the brackets turned backwards, or some such thing as that, because there were no hole there for one of the X brace's bolts. So, what I ended up doing is just drilling my own hole for it, rather than losing an hour or more, by having to take it all apart, and to redo it again. So, my suggestion number 2 would be, for those items which require the "X" brace, would be to put a sticker on them, saying, “This side to the rear", or some such thing as that. Otherwise, I only had one problem where I had some trouble getting that top shelf lined up, and the bolt for it started. But with “canned furniture”, etc, little things like that are expectation especially on a product which requires extensive assembly. Towards the finish, I told my wife that if it didn't work out, we could always use it for scaffolding. lol! But in truth, it seems almost sturdy enough to climb on, although I wouldn't at all recommend anyone trying it, But, overall, those small issues aside, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this shelving system. And my wife is elated with it! So, without any reservations, I would highly recommend this product, for anyone who needs some extra shelving space, either at home, or at the office, etc. Also, the built in power outlets made this an extra nice kitchen addition for us. This was excellent value for money. It is pretty solid and was very easy to put together. I’m a single female that is not handy at all but I was able to put it together myself with the included tools. It took me several hours since it was just me and I took breaks but it was well worth the effort. I am able to fit all my appliances and pans/cutting boards and it’s finally organized. I also love that the main shelf is roughly counter height so that I can prep food. Highly recommend. ... show more
