Every man needs a good mechanical watch... consider the state of world affairs and you'll quickly realize a quartz watch is vulnerable to electromagnetic forces... That being said... Steel, ceramic, and sapphire front and rear... bgw9 superluminova that glows for hours, pvd finish which just helps keep rust at bay. Did I mention an anti-magnetic movement with a silicon mainspring? For the price, you can't best this watch for features. For those concerned with the accuracy or this movement being that its stock, the base movement is an ETA-2824-2 that's been modified with a longer barrel spring for more power reserve and reduced to 3hz (21,600vph). By making these modifications and others, Tissot created a "stock" movement that is chronometer grade accurate. 10 days on my wrist and its averaging +1.3 seconds per day. Chronometer spec is -4/+6 over the first 10 days. And this isn't the only example of a powermatic 80 I've seen that has this level of accuracy. Also, strap was too short on my wrist so I replaced it with a black gray, black pvd hardware bond NATO strap (the only way you should wear a watch is on a NATO imho), and it looks amazing. ... show more

I've had this watch for 2 months. It's losing time and stopped dead last night after wearing it all day and to bed. I'm trying to return it.

This watch is beautifully crafted & would be great addition to any collection. Shop around for best price, there was quite a range in price at the time I bought from various online retailers. Ended up going outside of 'A' but still wanted to leave a review on the watch. Watch may be to (look to large) large for small wrists - this is a large timepiece (which I love). ... show more

It’s a beautiful looking watch but it is too thick. It’s also too expensive. There are Swiss made watches with similar movements with much smaller tag.

    • FUNCTIONAL AND RELIABLE AS WELL AS ASETHETIC!
JUST REALLY GOOD WATCHES! Word of caution: the elctronic watches can be somewhat problematic to set. Having said that, I have the Diver model in the programmable elctronic ,not waterproof! That's why I purchased the Seastar. Water resistant to 2000'! I have at least 5 Tissots. Really good watches. Check out the "Skelton Sequealae" and the Seastar 2000 Powermatic 80. You won't regret it! ... show more
