    • Nice quartz chronograph for the money
The best thing about this quartz chrono -- which is pretty much unique to Tissot -- is that its minute sub-register goes to 30, making it easy to read if one, you know, actually uses the chronograph. Every other quartz chrono has a minute register that goes to 60, which crunches the numbers together and renders it almost impossible to read elapsed minutes accurately, especially if you're a bit older in age and dimmer of eye. Other nice things about this watch: It looks sharp -- the blue dial is a nice, rich, blue, and the brushed stainless case has a clean, classic, aviator's chronograph vibe going on. The chrono pushers have a nice tactile click to them when operated. It's easy to read, both for the time and for elapsed time. Has decent (but not great) lume. Saphire, scratch-proof crystal. And although it's a large watch at 45mm, it's also very thin at only 11 mm thickness, so it wears well. And even though it doesn't have a screw down crown, it is 100mm water resistant, and is perfectly swimmable. I wear it in pools and to the beach all the time w/o problem. Downsides: the band that comes with it isn't great. I thought it felt and looked cheap, plus it's a terrible choice if you plan on taking the watch in the water. I opted for a single-pass Nato strap and haven't looked back. You could pay a few hundred dollars more and get a Tissot chronograph with a metal bracelet and screw down pushers, but I liked this lower-key look and lower price tag. Only other downside? The sweeping, chronograph second hand isn't entirely white. It's black and only white tipped, which hurts visibility. All in all, I recommend this watch for the price, if a solid, good-looking, usable quartz chrono is what you're after. Just plan on putting it on an aftermarket strap. ... show more

Easy to read dial, rich color, and a comfortable strap. I’m 6’2”, 200lbs and feel great wearing this out for a casual occasion or in a suit. I also bought mine in used-very good condition. Love grabbing something secondhand that looks brand new. You won’t regret this watch!

A very good looking watch. Comfortable and stylish as well as affordable for an entry level Swiss watch. The leather band is a bit stiff at first but molds to wrist after some wearing. The band is a bit small in circumference, as I am at the 2nd from last notch on the band and don't think I have an exceptionally large wrist. Expected a screw-down stem for water resistance and hesitate to submerg for fear of ruining the watch. Overall a solid watch that seems to keep very accurate time. ... show more

Big and beautiful watch. Adjusting the chronograph functions take a little time. The leather band is awful and physically uncomfortable to wear on my wrist. I don't know what they were thinking.
