Our kid had put this on her list. i was a bit dubious, but went ahead and got it for her. The media could not be loaded. This game is fun with a group! Honestly it is not that great playing by yourself, but when you are with a few friends and taking turns and trying to beat each others records this thing becomes a lot of fun. The banter from the device when you do bad is very entertaining. It is well made it works perfectly. This is not a cheap kids toy- I'm 31 and I use it. Well put together, lots of enjoyment from 7 to 67 love this. Good gift if you have a 20 something you don’t know what to buy them… my 7 yr old gkid lives iron February still.

    • Challenging but fun
Overall, this is a fun toy but it is quite difficult and requires a ton of focus and dexterity. My 6-year-old received it for Christmas and I think it is a tad too challenging for him. I have tried it and I find it difficult but with practice I'm sure it gets easier! The one downside is that it is quite loud and I do not see a way to turn the volume down or off. Also, while we have not yet lost the ball that it comes with, it's a matter of time before that happens. It would have been nice to get one or two back-up balls with it. I haven't tried using it with a regular ping pong ball but I'm sure that might work just as well. ... show more

Oh my stars this game is a hoot, so much fun, highly addictive and highly competitive when trying to beat scores. I'm pretty sure I now have tennis elbow from playing so much and all my eyes can see is a orange blur, bit it's well worth it. Buy this game. Honestly kids may like it... But move over Johnny, this is for the adults who are kids. Highly suggest buying this game ... show more

I bought this game for my 11-year-old daughter's birthday. I think she only played with it once. It's well built and I didn't notice the noise issue like some other reviewers. However, the game is very challenging and would probably be better suited for decently coordinated adults. It only comes with one ball, but it's a standard-sized ping pong ball, so it should be easy to replace if needed. ... show more

Lots of fun! I got this for my preteen for Christmas so that he’d have a fun “toy” to play with when we opened gifts. He liked it even more than I expected. It kept him entertained for awhile and we all started taking turns with it. He’s gone back to it many times since. I’m not great at it yet but my son and husband have begun to master it. Omg you guys. So I bought this for my hubby for Christmas. He loves table tennis! Me, not so much. When I saw this, I thought oh that's cute. Kind of like a gag gift.
