I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 20 month old son and he loves it. There are a lot of great features such as the clicking twist knobs and the ice machine on the fridge door. The kitchen itself doesn’t come with anything you would find in a play kitchen so you will need to buy items to stock it separately. I did think the curtains that came with it were a little boring so I found some cute fabric and made a set of curtains with a matching apron and potholder. This has become my toddler’s favorite thing to play with and it keeps him occupied for large chunks of time. Assembly time was about 2.5 hours and the instructions were easy to follow. Be aware that the oven door and the microwave door are made from a thin sheet of plastic and could be busted if you have a kid who likes to throw things or smack toys against surfaces. ... show more

This kitchen play set is so adorable and great quality! It was time consuming to assemble but had simple step by step instructions that made the process easy. The ice dispenser actually dispenses 2 wooden ice cubes that came with set. The knobs make clicking noises when using and adequate storage space for pretend foods, pots/pans/ and dishes. I just bought some simple baskets from Target to use inside fridge/oven. Has safety brackets as well to attach to wall so it doesn’t tip over but structure is very sturdy. My daughter is 20 months old and loves pretend play. We got her this kitchen for Christmas morning and has already played with it ton. Surely this will be a staple for many years to come :) Took my husband and myself roughly 2.5 hours to build. Instructions were clear and easy. All pieces were packaged nicely and nothing was damaged upon opening the box. All parts (screws, etc.) were provided with a few spare pieces. There was a slight odor after first assembling, but dissipated after a week or so. Sturdy kitchen for a curious toddler. I like how the doors latch close and take a decent amount of force to open (meaning, they're easy enough for a toddler to open/close, but not loose enough to where they just fly open and won't stay closed). There are many great features, such ice cubes that can dispense from the fridge water cutout, the oven knobs make a clicking noise, etc. I added a floral backsplash (peel and stick wallpaper) before inserting the back cardboard pieces and this was very simple to do - took no more than 30 mins to get it cut and installed without any bubbles. My only complaint is that the kitchen is more cream/off-white than I was expecting. It's fine, but I would have preferred it to be crisp white to match our actual kitchen, which is off to the side of her play area. This took me 3.5 hours to build, my fingers hurt, my back aches and I feel weak. Side note it’s beautiful, even though there was a hiccup while I was drilling part #5. The plastic piece that already comes inside the wood wasn’t in all the way (so check them all before and after) and it split and busted out of the wood. Was super wobbly afterwards but I kept going and it ended up not even mattering and wasn’t wobbly anymore. It does suck though because yk ocd, but you can’t see it cause it’s inside under the sink, thank the lord! Overall beautiful kitchen, great Christmas present for the kiddos, buy it! Why the heck not! Giving a 4.5 stars just because that incident really ticked me off haha UPDATE: it’s only been up since the day after Christmas and it’s already broken. Super upset with the quality and would like my money back. ... show more

This kitchen is ADORABLE. We got this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas & she was so excited to see it. It did take my husband about 2 1/2 hours to put together but after reading other reviews, I expected that. We got all pieces and all holes aligned so that was a relief! It seems to be great quality & my daughter hasn't stopped playing with it. I WISH it came with some accessories but not a deal breaker. The only issue I have with it is the smell... we set it up Christmas Eve & it still smells a bit 10 days later. Just make sure you can air out the room it is in! But, again, so stinkin' cute!!! ... show more

The package was delivered perfectly a day earlier than expected. The parts were all packaged with extreme care. I unboxed and laid each item out in numerical order. It took me 4 hours from first cutting the box open to completely assembled and cleaned up. About a hour in, I thought “This is so easy!” Then things got a more detailed over the next few hours. I’m a fairly handy gal, and I never felt overwhelmed. There were a couple times I installed something backwards, but it wasn’t due to the directions. The directions were really clear compared to some other items I’ve assembled. I used an electric drill for all 64 “A” screws and hand-tightened most of the others. There were only two minor flaws in my product. The board with the microwave knobs has two major knicks, which I could’ve inadvertently caused (despite being very careful). The other flaw is a screw cap being misaligned/over tightened from the factory leading to a significant chip in the cabinet under the coffee maker. I worry the kids will snag themselves on it because it is right on what I anticipate will be a high traffic spot. I notice no smell or odor at all, but I did unbox and assemble outside. It’s inside now, and I smell nothing at all, but I’m generally not very sensitive to those types of things. All things considered, after completing all 36 steps of assembly, I am in love with this sweet and seemingly sturdy little kitchen! The details are so precious and fun!!! I can’t wait to give it to my twins tomorrow for their 2nd birthday! Time will tell how much lovin’ it can withstand from my very active little crew. ... show more
