    • Stylus nib decides how good it is
Had no issues installing it. Screen protector has a nice feel on the surface and texture is not as rough as on my previous paperlike screen protector. Despite how good it is, it works well only with hard plastic nibs. The one that comes with Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has a little rubberized tip which offers resistance on glass surface but degrades the scratchy feeling that this screen protector provides compared to hard plastic nib by miles. ... show more

    • A pain to install, but works well.
I have installed a lot of screen protectors over the years. This one was by far one of the most annoying, between getting it to line up right and keeping dust out from under it. I had to keep using a six to raise the protector back up and dab it to remove dust. Eventually it worked. Once installed, it works great! I really enjoy the texture for writing and drawing. Pair it with a metal nib for the s pen, and then you don't have to worry about the pen wearing down. But I legitimately think I can use this to replace my plethora of notebooks at work, and that is pretty exciting. ... show more

    • It does wear out over time
I use this device exclusively for art. The "grip" of this screen protector is good when first applied. You can drag the stylus across the screen, using friction to stabilize your line. This allows for smoother lines and greater precision and control in drawing. Over time, it gradually wears out. I did not keep track of how long that took, but I think it was on a scale of weeks to months, with casual use (I'm not a full time artist by any means). Frequently-used regions (i.e. center area) end up more slippery, with grippy areas remaining around the edges. (Note, I always drew with a cloth around my hand to keep grease off the screen, so the loss of texture really was due to a mechanical wearing-down of the plastic.) Eventually, I got used to the more slippery surface, and began to rely more on a different type of muscle control. It's like a frog in warm water being brought to a boil - it's very gradual and you barely perceive the change. After a year and a half (note, I sometimes went for weeks at a time without using the device), I realized there was almost no grip left, so I started shopping for a new one, only to realize that this product is a 2-pack! Sure enough, I still had the second sheet, which I just applied, and it is wonderful to have that friction back. When applying the first sheet, I had several bubbles, due to very tiny dust particles that got trapped. When applying the second sheet, I had much better success eliminating bubbles, because I think the first sheet pulled off those dust particles with it. In any case though, I never found that trapped dust or bubbles had any impact on the lines I was drawing, and they are very hard to notice when the screen is on. Note, also, I found NO tendency at all for the paper-like texture to wear out my stylus nibs! I am probably still using the same nib for the past couple years. I am leaning towards maybe buying a couple more of these 2-paks, and getting into a habit of changing the screen protector every couple months, especially after having had such an easy experience applying the second sheet. ... show more

just as the on-line product video showed the film laid down perfectly without any difficulty in getting air bubbles out. the texture is paperlike and anti glare quality is great for eliminating telltale screen smudges and easy on the eyes under outdoor urban sketching conditions. pen stylus was just as responsive through the screen. i bought another two because i am going to be using this on my backup tablet as well. ideal for drawings and taking notes work on the screen drawings. ... show more

Excellent screen protector! The thickness and sheerness are just perfect. It really feels like writing and drawing on a thick piece of paper. Nice feel for the hand and fingers too. Installation was easy. Highly recommendable.

The installation of this screen protector went well, but my number one complaint is that the screen proctor EATS up my Spen nib 🥺. These pictures is literally a day after I replaced my nib, 2 hours of drawing, and 2 hours of writing notes. I didn't have a screen proctor on my galaxy tab s7 for 4 months, so when I installed the screen proctor, I was very shocked that it muted the color of the screen display. I mean, it makes sense since it's a matter finish. I am still not used to that and it bugs me when I am drawing. It's very matte, which is a nice plus and it's a good screen proctor for those who use their tablet to surf the web, read, and go on social media. HOWEVER, I do not recommend someone who uses their tablet to take notes and draw. I am a nursing student who takes notes on my tablet, I like to draw faceless portraits to destress, and screen proctor shaving down my spen nib is stressing me out 😅😭 ... show more

Feels like paper to the touch and when writing with my s-pen it has more of a paper feel. Easy to install. Also, brings down glare from lights. Highly recommend if looking for a matte screen protector.
