- ITS TIME TO HIT PAUSE AND EAT: This is more than a bowl. Mora is Latin for "Pause", acting as a reminder to slow down in your amazing life. You are always being told to do more, to go faster, to be better, but it's time for you to slow down every once in a while and hit pause. Your Mora bowls can help you do that. No matter what you are eating, every time you use a Mora bowl it is a reminder to hit pause, give yourself some family time, and practice mindful eating.
- OPTIMAL SIZES: Our serving dishes are designed with you in mind. Our oval serving bowls range from 11.8 inches to 13.5 inches long and can hold 35 to 55 ounces. Our serving bowls are slightly asymmetrical and perfect for family dinners or entertaining in a modern home.
- CRYSTALLIZED SCRATCH RESISTANT FORMULA: Our glaze is extra strong to prevent scratches from your knives and forks. Only we produce a crystallized glossy glaze that is strong enough to resist scratches under 1000 grams of pressure. Please note dark marks may occur due to finish on certain silverware, which are not scratches, but metal residue marks. To remove metallic stains, see content below.
- CERAMIC WITH 20% STRONGER PALADIN CLAY: Only we have Paladin Clay which is 20% stronger than the competitors, giving you stronger and more durable stoneware. Our clay has optimal heat retention to keep your food hotter longer. Our pans are also resistant to thermal shock, meaning they can go from freezer to oven (without preheating), and can handle over 500 degrees F. Dishwasher safe and mother approved.

WOW! i LOVE their products!
Size: XL & L
Color: Vanilla White
Every now and then both the seller and their product goes above and beyond. This is one of those times. I can't say enough good things about the many items I have gotten from Mora Ceramics, and the way they handle themselves as a seller. First off... I am clumsy and also have nerve damage in my hands that is just getting worse with age. I have 2 nice porcelain dinnerware sets that I am slowly but surely destroying over time with wear and tear and my own clumsiness. But I am no longer willing to pay the exorbitant prices that are being asked for a new, good-quality porcelain set only to end up destroying it as well over time. And I like some of the Melamine sets I was finding, but it's way overpriced too - especially considering the limitations with no microwaving and dishwasher 'top rack only' rules. So, I decided to switch back to stoneware. I found a beautiful Stoneware set with a pattern that I fell in love and am obsessed with - honeycombs! I love bees. (Elama Geometric Embossed Stoneware Honeycomb Pattern Tableware, Set, Ivory. I'm happy to say I got 2 sets for 8 settings, and now I see that it's sold out, so yay on the timing there!) This dinnerware set includes a standard-sized bowl and smaller plate for salad. So I was looking for serving dishes to go with the new set, but I also wanted a set of those cool, low-rimmed pasta dishes as well. I wanted something that would look really good color-wise with the new set - I am a fine artist and I get crazy with color not matching - but also something durable and very simple in design so as not to take away from the dinnerware, because (in my opinion) serving dishes are supposed to support it but not show it up. My table setting & accessories colors are off-white, tan, beige and bright Aqua as the highlight, all on a maple-colored Amish wood table. The Vanilla color with the warm brown bare clay areas in the Mora dishes turned out to be a fantastic color match to these dishes. (I will put up pics soon). It is just different enough to create some interest, but allows the set be the star without clashing. And the quality!! omg WOW. One of the fine art disciplines i have tried my now-failing hands at is ceramics. Not my most experienced area, but I loved it and I know enough about it to know how difficult it is to make things look simple & clean. Let me tell you - it is not easy to do that. These pieces are gorgeous and SO well made. I love the subtle speckling in the glaze and really like the bare clay areas. I am absolutely a "form follows function" artist and these fit the bill perfectly - those bare clay areas make for much more secure handling - so important with my questionable hand strength, which goes right back to my original reason for updating my dinnerware. The fact that they are so lovely as well is just icing on the cake. The company itself sent emails asking after my satisfaction, which was great. Not many of them do this on Amazon anymore. The packaging is EXCELLENT. It's very secure and it's totally obvious Mora spent some money on this, which is completely appreciated. Since I will more than likely being using most of these dishes for larger formal dinners, I plan to store the majority of the pieces I bought from them in the original packaging... that's how nice it is! And as it is Stoneware, I have no worries about using one or two pieces constantly and storing the rest. Yes, there will be some 'wear and tear' differences, but not in the severe way the fragile patterns wear away on the porcelain sets. I bought 2 of these sets in the "XL & L" to use as serving dishes, plus 2 sets of the Mora Large Pasta Bowls 30oz, to go with my 8-place settings. I plan to buy the pie pan very soon. I am all set for a gorgeous table setting this coming Turkey day - with the exception of the gravy boat. Oh, I bought one to be sure, because, well, have to. But I'd rather have one that goes with the Mora dishes! I have formally requested this from them, LOL... so, Pretty Please? Maybe a Gravy boat w/lid, Butter dish, Sugar & Creamer....? Oh man. I'd be in heaven :) By the way..... NO, I did not receive free stuff from them. I am writing this of my own volition. If you are on the fence, just buy it. You won't regret it.

Love these
Size: XL & L
Color: Earl Grey
I have other dishes by this company, the bowls, large plates and smaller salad plates, both in cream and gray. Of everything I have purchased these oval platters are what I enjoy using the most. Unlike the other products in this line, I find the size of these platters and the feel of them in hand perfect for serving. Not too large or small. It is not too heavy or too light. You can fit a good amount of food, or a selection of food and it looks attractive. I use this to serve food for two people expecting leftovers. I like its simplicity. But what I also learned after buying from this company is that there really is a connection between the food you serve and what you put it in that is both visual and tactile, and surprisingly maybe it is even more tactile than it is visual. This will change from person to person and household to household. If I should find myself buying more tableware in the future, if I can, I think I will try to buy a single place setting rather than a complete set at one time to be sure it is the right fit for my taste and needs, before buying more. This might seem too much trouble, but it is worth doing for something you will use and look at every day. These platters had the right feel to me.

No need to look any further
Size: XL & L
Color: Vanilla White
After many years of not having bought any serving dishes and having many incomplete pieces of different color, I was way overdue to get a new set. However I could not get myself to go to the store and spend hours looking at things I didn’t like. I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it and I was over the moon when I went to their store site and found they have different items and sizes. They are beautiful, sturdy, completely unique and obviously handmade because they all look different. But gorgeous set and I didn’t have to break the bank for it. The items is amazing, the packaging was wonderful and safe and all had a cute little thank you note on them. Have never been happier with a kitchen service purchase. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for more. Super happy with my purchase.
