Wow is all I can say, I honestly didn't expect too much from a $10 case, I just bought it so that I could have some type of case on it until I decide which keyboard folio that I want (the Apple one or an aftermarket one, gotta do some research). This case is so good! It puts the iPad to sleep when you shut it & wakes it when you open it (I didn't expect that at all for $10). The case arrived on time is very professional packaging. The clear portion of the case was protected, inside and outside. Other reviews said the case does not hold the Apple Pencil securely. It only holds the pencil securely when the iPad is in the case. It is very easy to remove the protective films and apply the case to the iPad. The sleep/wake function works as described. I just got a 2025 base iPad and I chose this case and it’s perfect. I can already tell this is much better than the official Apple folio cover I had with previous iPads. I chose the yellow and it’s fun/quirky/easy on the eyes. The only thing I’m wondering about is what the empty circle under the pencil holder is supposed to be used for. I got this case for my 2025 A16 iPad in the color Abyss Blue. It was everything I expected! Pretty blue color, great quality, fit nicely on iPad. There was protective plastic over the case so it wasn’t scratched in shipping. It holds your iPad snug, but not to the point where you’re cracking the screen to pull it off. The magnets on the case that hold the iPad in a standing position work great. I also like the soft inside so it doesn’t scratch your screen when the case is closed. Just as nice as the ones you can buy at Best Buy and costs a lot less. I initially went to Best Buy and the cheapest was $60.00. I returned it and bought this on Amazon. Love the color and the style and the fact it is a soft, silicone texture, and for only $18.00 it was a great deal!

Minimalist, but does the job. It has easier access to the fingerprint and volume buttons than other cases. The camera lens is not obscured. There are no added pockets to make it bulky. The Apple Pencil storage area is secure with easy access when using the table.
