Directions: Unbuckle Unbuckle the chest straps. Release the chest buckle NO need go over dog's head through , with the D-ring and the Logo facing up on the back. Used daily for over 2 yrs now and it's held up great. My dog doesn't like to have anything go over her head - this harness has two buckles on one side so I don't have to put it over her head which was hard to find in other harnesses. Also with her being a mixed breed and not sure how she was going to grow exactly, the straps are all adjustable and fits her very comfortably, she can roll and run no limited range of motion & she never seems uncomfortable with it on. We have a very fast growing St Bernard puppy! Her first harness she grew out of in 3 weeks. The Timos dog harness works great because it easily expands as your puppy grows. We got the large size when our puppy was 30lbs. Yes, it was a bit big, but she grows quickly! She is now 45 lbs & still in the same harness with more room still to expand. We have expanded it twice in the past 6 weeks. It fits her very comfortable. The handle on top is also a very nice feature! We take her for many car rides. She’s too little to jump in the car & now getting heavy for us. Holding onto the handle certainly helps in safely lifting her. For training we take her to dog friendly stores. Having a durable buckle on top for her lead is a must for this already very strong puppy. Keeping her under control without pulling on her neck is a Huge benefit. I bought this harness for my 6 month old mini-Dachshund. Right now she is 12 lbs, so she's already larger than a mini, but I ordered an x-small due to the available size chart. If she grows a lot more I will have to go up to a small size, since I have the harness adjusted as far as it will go around the chest and it's adjusted as small as it will go around the neck. It took a bit of a learning curve to get this harness to fit correctly, and it was a struggle due to the thick material and small areas to work with around the buckles, and my large fingers. But once it's adjusted to the right fit, then you don't have to keep fiddling with it. I at first thought that the harness was too heavy and thick for my puppy, but I am learning that Dachshunds are just big dogs with short legs, and she is very strong when she gets excited and decides to pull, so the rugged, heavy-duty material is a smart idea and it will last a long time unless I need to replace it if she grows out of it. I think it looks great on her and she seems comfortable when wearing it. ... show more

This harness is sturdy, fits my 15.5 lb. Cavapoo perfectly and is so stylish. I like that it has a reflective strip that glows in the dark for night walks. We get compliments on her harness from people all the time. I would definitely buy again.

My dog is usually a size small in everything, this was miniature on her. Make sure you check the size chart. I did not. Other than that it was great quality. I was sad to have to send back. It would’ve been sooo cute!!
