Long story short this is a very good oil, with very similar result on term of smoothness, gas mileage, cleanliness and oil consumption of equivalent grade Castrol, Liquimoly or Penzoil Euro oils that I have used for the same application. This is the 3rd time filling it in a BMW N55 engine and likely will keep using it or swapping it with the Castrol just for fun. With these oils when the engine is warmed up nicely it feels very smooth, the idle is almost totally silent with no vibration that I need to look at the RPM dial if it is still on. I change my oil every 5-6000 miles, and the filter came out in great shape, and both oil and filter can easily go to 10k miles, but at about 40$ including filter per oil change (7 quarts) I prefer to keep the engine happy. ... show more

Good oil for the money, but if you want the best synthetic go with Redline. That stuff is amazing and it sticks to metal like a magnet and stays clean like you won't believe. because of the superior ring seal. Expensive though.

Product is ok, my disatisfaction is with the grossly inadequate packaging! I ordered THREE of these gallon-plus containers of motor oil and they were shipped ALL TOGETHER in one inadequate cardboard box. Opened my front door to a heavily damaged box - cardboard torn open in 3 places and one of the containers was completely out of the box .
