I originally purchased a pair of these nearly three years ago for our two 60lb Pit Bulls to provide a more comfortable walking experience, and they are still our daily go-to. These are truly "no-choke" vests that take all the pressure off the neck and distribute it across the chest, making them remarkably soft and comfortable for the dogs. The material has a substantial thickness to it that feels durable and high-quality, yet it remains breathable and hasn't caused any rubbing or irritation over the years. The build quality has held up incredibly well under the weight of powerful pullers. The velcro adjustments stay exactly where I set them, and the solid buckle has never "popped" or failed under pressure. The leash attachment is a heavy-duty metal hook that hasn't bent or rusted, but my favorite feature is the sturdy handle located right above that hook. It gives me immediate, close-proximity control during surprises—like when we encounter other dogs or people on our walks. After three years of regular use, the stitching is still perfect with no fraying. For the price, you cannot beat the longevity and durability. It’s tough enough to handle the strength of a Pit Bull while being comfortable for them on long walks.     • Good Quality Harness, Just More Complicated Than Our Previous One

Overall, this seems like a genuinely solid harness and I’d still give it 4 stars, but I do have one complaint that’s more about convenience than quality. The harness itself feels sturdy, padded well, and reasonably comfortable for the dog. The materials seem durable, the reflective accents are a nice touch for nighttime walks, and the control handle on the back is actually pretty useful. The issue for me is mainly the design when it comes to putting it on and taking it off. Our previous harness stayed clipped on one side all the time, so I could basically just slide the dog’s head through, clip one buckle underneath, and be done in seconds. This one has a much larger underside cross-strap/bar setup, which makes the whole process feel more awkward and slower every time. It’s not bad once it’s actually on, and I understand the design probably helps with support and stability, but compared to simpler harnesses it definitely feels less convenient during daily use. Once fitted properly though, it seems secure and distributes pressure well without obvious choking or pulling issues. The leash clip options are also nice depending on whether you want more control or a more standard walking setup. Overall, this feels like a good quality harness with solid construction and useful features, but if you value super fast easy on/off convenience, the design may feel a little more cumbersome than simpler harness styles. ... show more

This harness is very well made, seems super comfortable on my 110 lb Old English Sheepdog. It’s adjustable which helpful as his fur grows ( very thick fur) which is a big win! I purchased an XL which is perfect for muscular broad chested dogs. The chest strap where the latch is for the leash sits well below the neck which avoids that tightness around his neck. Best thing of all is IT WORKS at discouraging pulling and jerking around wild bunnies, birds and squirrels!! This harness has made our walks more enjoyable for both of us! ... show more

I first have to say that I was looking for a harness with two clip points so I can work on walking a heavy puller. This one appeared to be less bulky than the larger single point harness I have now so I thought this would be a better option in the hotter climate we have in Phoenix. I do like the style better however although the top ring appears to be metal the ring on the chest is plastic. Not sure if it will hold out long enough for training. The buckles are also plastic but I am not as concerned about those even though they are half the size of the buckles on the harness I already have, we will have to see. I went ahead and ordered a second one for my other dog but unfortunately I will have to throw it away. That dog has a 34" chest so I ordered the XL. The chart states it will fit up to a 38" chest so it should be fine. NOPE. not even close. I have the straps out as far as they will go and it still lacks about 2" from even being able to get it clipped. Unfortunately I had already made the mistake of writing his name on it so I don't think they can take it back so in the trash it goes. If you have a larger dog you may want to try to fit it before writing on it like I did and also before the return window closes as well. Also, others have reported their dog can escape the harness but a determined dog can do that with most harnesses especially if it is not fitted properly. This model also has some elastic give in the chest portion strap so it does not restrict breathing as much so keep that in mind as well. ***Edit- The seller contacted me after my initial review and offered a refund. This was even though I had not initially attempted to return the harness due to my mistake of altering it as mentioned above. With customer service like that I had to bump my review up a couple stars even though I could not use the harness. It is rare to find that level of customer service anymore. If they eventually offer one in this style and in a large enough size that I can use I will definitely order again. ... show more

We love our Rabbitgoo!! So many people at the dog park also have this brand of dog harness. I will say, it would be more practical to have the clips on the same side, one at the collar and one at body rather than both at the body. The way it is, the collar can only be as tight as the dog’s head because it has to go over the pup’s head. So with a broad headed dog like a pitty you would run the risk of them being able to slip out if you didn’t adjust it after putting it on and then again before taking it off, if that makes sense. Luckily our boy is built like a seal so it works just fine. The leash attachments are super secure. The martingale was really nice during training and I still use it on occasion for walks. He wears this harness at least twice a day every day. It’s been almost a year and absolutely no signs of wear and tear. Definitely worth buying. ... show more
