    • I've loved the Timex Indiglo watches for a very long time.

They last a long time and are reasonably priced. I usually bought/wore the Easy Reader with a plain white face, black numerals and the date. I started looking to see what was available when I realized that my old Easy Reader's face was seriously scratched. I browsed and, thinking this model was particularly attractive, put it in my cart along with several others pending a decision. Eventually I picked this one with its mineral glass crystal which should remain clear even with 24/7 wear. As soon as it arrived, I set the time and the date and put the scratched one in a drawer where it becomes a "back-up" to wear outside gardening. A quick comment about the Indiglo feature: if you've never had one, think about it. I love the fact that I can check the time overnight or anywhere else in the dark like movie theaters. I'm old enough that I grew up with watches to check the time rather than phones, and Timex makes easy-read watches that are dependable and reasonably priced. ... show more

I bought the watch as a replacement for a 3 year old Timex Men's T41101 Expedition Metal Analog and Digital Combo Watch that had died. The watch itself was fine but I had a problem with the bracelet: It kept pinching my skin all the time. It's an expandable bracelet with no clasp and so when you put it on or reposition it, it really pinches your skin. Thank goodness I don't have hairy wrists or I would have been in agony. The bracelet lasted all of two months and broke apart. It's of course too late to send it back to Amazon so, I will now have to deal with Timex and spend more money on having it fixed, but even if they give me another bracelet it will still pinch. As I write this I think I may just fold my cards right here and call it a loss. It looks beautiful but the bracelet design was not tested on humans, or tested at all for that matter and it doesn't appear that another bracelet would actually work on this watch. Oh well... UPDATE: I emailed Timex, and they immediately sent me a brand new bracelet at no cost to me. That's excellent customer service on their part. The bad news is that it took my husband, who trained as a mechanical engineer, 2 full hours to get the old one off and the new one on. I will try to wear it loose because last time I went to the local jeweler who took some links out and had to charge me an arm and a leg because it was so hard to do. This is not a watch designed to be sized. If it fits you a bit on the loose side to avoid the pinching problem, then you're set. If it's too big I don't recommend having it made smaller because it's simply not designed to be broken apart and put back together. The exact interior circumference (without stretching) of the band attached to the watch is 6 7/8" So if your wrist is larger, the band will pinch. If your wrist is slightly smaller it may be a bit loose but it won't pinch except when you're stretching it to put it on. If you have a 6" wrist it will flop around but if you like that, then you'll be good to go. ... show more

The watch is really attractive and my husband loved it, but it was too small. I was able to return it for a full refund. My mistake for not getting more information on the size of my husbands wrist.
