  • This is a great timeless watch that I'll use for years!
Color: Black/Black/Silver-Tone
The watch is perfect in size and is a classy timeless (pun intended) style. Quality and easy to adjust, keeps time immediately and looks fantastic!

  • A great every day watch.
Finally a watch that fits bigger wrists!!! Most watches are made for a standard 7" wrist. Its like rings...they make most in a seven and you have to size up or down. Same with most watches, only down is usually the only option. This one would fit a 9" wrist without doing anything. I have an 8" and I had to have two pieces removed. You could leave it as a bracelet it was fine like that, but I wanted it watch style. You WILL have to have it adjusted, so be prepared for that if you buy this unless you have a nine inch wrist anyway. I paid fifteen bucks at the jeweler not to mess with it myself, if you know how, go for it. Maybe Walmart is cheaper? I don't know. It is not a low profile watch, but I love that it comes with the battery protected so you know you have a new battery not one that is going to die quick, because if you know timex you also know you cannot change the battery yourself and get the back back on! They are impossible to put back on yourself, just cannot be done. I love Indiglo beacause I cannot see my alarm across the room anymore, lol, so pushing that button at night is really great. It is hard to see the date even with my glasses on, its very tiny and the light has to be just right, though it is a handy feature. I buy this brand for the light. Its a nice enough looking watch, its not really dressy, its pretty casual in my opinion and not low profile. A great every day watch. ... show more

  • get rid of useless date box and have better instructions = 5+ stars
Looks nicer in person than in the pictures imo (model T25771). However, I think if a person has any pain or lack of mobility with thumb and first finger they may have a little trouble opening the latch of the bracelet-style band. NOTE: it is NOT an expansion band although it looks as if it might be and came up in my search for expansion band watches. The instructions that came with it are poor to non-existent. Nothing about how to set time or date, shorten the band, or change the battery. They just say take it to a jeweler- fine if you have one in the area that does these things, and you don't mind paying the extra. The back of the case at least tells you it takes a CR1216 battery- that is a little flat button 3V battery commonly found where I am. The date is ridiculous- this is an easy-reader type of watch which usually means you need slightly larger clear numbers - the date is tiny within the space the numeral 3 should be, so a lot of people will not be able to read it. It also has to be manually reset for every month less than 31 days- quite a nuisance, although once you learn how to do it, you can do it yourself-- if you can hold the watch and have a real or artificial "3rd hard" to hold the magnifying glass so you can see the numbers under good lighting while turning the tiny knob. It just is not worth it to me and I think the watch would look nicer without that little square hole where the 3 should be- so imo Timex ought to dispense with it and give us a few cents price break instead while having a less annoying, better looking product. That said, the good part is that I am hoping this nice looking but sturdy seeming watch will be as good as the similar ones I have had- such as the T2H381 which is also sold here- it is a 2-tone so-called "bracelet" watch which actually DOES have an expansion band and does tell you how to set date but still has all the other same drawbacks about the date) I have had for many, many years, through at least 3 battery changes now, and they do last a few years, although using the indiglo feature really eats batteries- I suggest not using it if you don't really need to, although it is nice when you do need it- usually the watch can run fine for several months after the indiglo stops working due to battery getting old, in my experience. I e to use Timex watches- I kill all LCD digital watches, and even other brands of analog watches in no time-any I ever tried would act goofy and die in short order. I say it is my electric personality as I get shocked all the time just touching things- like the shelves in a store. I also take gold plating off things- but not off these watches. All my life I have done fine with an analog Timex, and I do plenty of outside work with them. I liked that this new one is supposed to be rated for a bit more water resistance, than the old model, in case I am getting splashed while working with irrigation or cleaning gutters, although the old one has managed to live through years of all that. I think both styles look fine to wear out socially or to an office job, also, and they both have a second hand if you work in medical. The only reason I ordered this one was that my old one once again needed the battery replaced and this time I was having trouble getting the back of the case opened- since it was old and a little scratched or worn due to rubbing here and there, after some 20+ years, and I wondered if I might crack the lens before I got the battery changed and the back cover on again so when I saw a good deal on this style that I liked, I ordered it- and then I was finely able to get the back case cover off and the battery changed without damaging anything. Of course, right? Just get rid of the silly date box and do better on instructions and I'd give it more than 5 stars ... show more

  • Beautiful watch
I love Times watches and this one is beautiful with the two tone metals. It was easy to adjust the bands myself to make it smaller. The bad was huge. It will be the perfect everyday watch. What I like most is that it’s an indiglo which I have a few of those and it’s helpful when you need to see the time at night. I may buy one for my mother in law since the band is pretty long. I know this will fit her. Highly recommend ! ... show more

  • Affordable value in a watch
Color: Black/Black/Silver-Tone
I love this watch because it's all black and suits my lifestyle. The face is small, but because it's an indiglo, the face lights up in the dark. All of this and it's VERY AFFORDABLE as well. I love this watch!

  • Lovely watch with Indiglo light feature
I have bought two of these and am about to buy my 3rd. My most recent purchase was about a year ago. I use the Indiglo feature almost every night 3 or 4 times. Because of this frequent use, the Indiglo feature stopped working. I am happy to buy another one. The price is right and it has all the features I want in a watch. It is easy to read and I enjoy the two-tone band and surround. I can wear it with all types of other jewelry. Excellent. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Very happy with the watch; the band doesn't last more than a year.
Color: Black/Black/Silver-Tone
Great watch! I've had it for 7 months now, which of course isn't forever in watch-time, but it runs beautifully. It's small and elegant and unobtrusive, the band still looks nice even though I wear it all the time when I'm washing my hands and such. The face is small but easily readable. Classy and understated, as Timex always is. UPDATE: I've now had my watch for about a year and a half, and while the watch itself still runs and looks great, the band has really fallen to pieces. The top and bottom separated in several places and I've had to glue it back together a few times. It was still wearable, of course, but less nice-looking. Then, the part that wraps around the pin at the top of the watch face (that actually hooks the band onto the watch) came unattached, and my attempts at gluing it back together only held for a few days before the tension of wearing the watch un-glued the band. Finally, the pin itself (that the band was wrapped around) popped out, and since it's tiny, has been lost forever. I love the watch itself, but it's obviously useless without a functional band. I guess I'll try to buy a new band, but I'm pretty disappointed in this overall product's staying power. ... show more
