This Timex watch has a feature my Armitron watch doesn't have that I consider essential when you're a mom or the kitchen manager of your home...a countdown timer. Even though cell phones have timers, I prefer not to be tied to my phone all the time. I like how the excess length of the strap is held in place with the notch (also a feature my Armitron doesn't have). I have a small wrist (I keep it in the first notch) and the face size on this watch is perfect. The watch features one alarm setting that can be set to daily, weekdays, or weekends (but not for one-time only); two time zones; a chrono stopwatch; and Indiglo (the digits light up, not the background; and it stays on for about 3-4 seconds). The countdown timer can be set to start as high as 23:59:59. The watch has an optional on/off hourly chime, and the button press has an optional on/off beep sound. The watch looks tough and well made. The purple accents on this dark gray watch give it a nice feminine touch. I might order the purple one for my tween daughter. ... show more

The watch is a good watch I’ve had them before, but after one week one of the wristband came off. Now I know how to put wristbands back in with the pin, and there should be a little holes in the watch part that holds the pin in when you squeeze it but this watch have very shallow holds that would not keep the pin in place, so I had to return it. Because the watch is very good. I am going to order another one hoping that I just got a badly manufactured one. ... show more

After fussing with a FitBit, I decided I had enough. While I love all what FitBit does, I found myself fussing with my phone trying to fix one thing or another in order to make the FitBit more customized to my liking. But then I just decided I had enough and I just wanted to go back to the basic Timex. I'm not sorry. I love the Timex watch and the indiglo feature. I have had this watch for about 1 1/2 years. I wear it almost everyday. The gold color around the watch face is chipping off. The watch still works but it’s not as pretty.

I've had ironman watches for years and usually end up replacing them when the band fails. I looked and looked for the ironman sleek watch but can't seem to find it anymore so I settled for this. It works fine as a watch and I like the indeglo. BUT, it has a much simpler computer inside than the ones I usually get - and I could not find this information in the product description anywhere, so I'm telling you all here. It only has one alarm, and you can't specify a day of the week for that alarm, it's just daily or off. It also only has one timer, which means that you cannot have an interval timer. For example, you can't have it beep every 2 minutes and then every 1 minute in a pattern. Overall, it's a fine watch but I really wish it had those features. ... show more
