  • Great looking, sturdy storage cabinet that fits perfectly
Color: Silver Sycamore
I purchased this 71-inch Sauder storage cabinet to help clear out some clutter, and it has turned out to be the perfect solution for my needs. Right now, I am using it to store a mix of miscellaneous electronics, board games, and dog toys. It holds a surprising amount of gear while keeping everything completely organized and out of sight behind the closed doors. Putting it together was a breeze. I handled the entire assembly process by myself from start to finish without running into any issues or alignment problems. For the price point, the build quality is impressive, and it looks great in the room. The color and finish look fantastic, and the overall dimensions let it slide perfectly into the specific corner I had picked out for it. Once it was completely loaded up, the cabinet felt quite sturdy and stable. With a tall unit like this, I definitely recommend utilizing the included safety strap to anchor it securely to the wall for extra peace of mind. Overall, this is a high-quality, budget-friendly piece of furniture that functions exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing to add some versatile storage to their home. ... show more

  • Easy to Assemble, Sturdy for the Price, Invest in a Ratcheting Screwdriver
Color: Cinnamon Cherry
I read the reviews before purchasing and was felt like I was pleasantly surprised once I got everything out of the box. The box itself was super well packed and even had thick cardboard attached/glued to each edge for extra support. There were no dents or holes in the packaging whatsoever. Everything is labeled for easy assembly, screws, pieces, brackets, ect. The cabinet sides and doors are a little thin, however, if you're not kicking the thing, it won't be a problem. There are two magnets that hold the doors shut, and honestly, they're a little strong for the weight of the doors, so I may set them a little further back to accommodate, as they make the doors more difficult to open. I was able to assemble the entire thing by myself, but would have appreciated a second pair of hands to mount the doors. I started with the center hinge and used my foot to steady the while putting the other two hinges in place (on each door) and then tightened once they were all on. You can loosen the stopper on the back of each hinge and that helped with getting the doors to close without a huge gap at the bottom. I may adjust further, we'll see. This cabinet does hold quite a bit, and I'm still figuring out what goes where. I mainly purchased this cabinet for pantry space as my kitchen cabinets are not deep or high enough for cereal boxes and at 5'5" the cabinets themselves are too high for me comfortably reach anything placed in them. My kitchen does have a lot of storage space, just not as easily accessible as I'd like. This cabinet solves those issues. Now the less used items can live on those high shelves and my food can be easily grabbed without ten other things falling down. A couple of recommendations: Have patience with assembly and lay out all of your pieces beforehand. The instructions show what pieces go where, so I laid them out according to what I was working with and when. I have vinyl flooring so I used the box as a mat to assemble on (which worked surprisingly well), but I would say use the box or a carpeted area so you don't scratch the pieces (I did knock one part into another and made a tiny and barely noticeable dent, so try not to do that either). Make sure you have plenty of space, I only had my kitchen area to put this together and would have loved to have been able to not be right up against my stove and cupboards while screwing the sides onto the top/bottom. Also, get yourself a ratcheting screwdriver, it seriously saves your hand. ... show more

  • NOT HEAVY DUTY like most Sauder, but it was what I needed NOT HEAVY DUTY like most Sauder, but it was what I needed
Color: Soft White
First, here’s what I like about these cabinets: They’re super easy to assemble. Well, that is compared to some products like this that I’ve assembled. The parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were complete and easy to understand (and in English). No boo-boos on the first one – I ordered two of them – and the second one went together even more quickly. They look nice. The molding trim on the doors gives them more of a custom look than your average white, assembled, particle board cabinet. The handles are a brushed-chrome finish and the hinges are heavy duty as well. It was well packaged. Both boxes arrived undamaged and the contents were in perfect condition. Now, their shortcomings: Every piece of Sauder Furniture I’ve ever assembled (and that’s a bunch of ‘em) has been made of ¾ inch particle board. This one is NOT, it’s much thinner! It’s more like 3/8 inch. Really. Some pieces bend when you push on them. That is both good and bad. It makes the cabinet not so heavy to handle and assemble (two people can easily lift it, or maybe one strong person). But it’s NOT HEAVY DUTY. That’s clearly stated in the description, if you read it carefully. They say the weight limit for the upper shelves in 25 lbs and the bottom shelf 50 lbs. I would not, under any circumstances, put that much weight on every shelf because I'd be afraid of sagging. Maybe half that, but then I’m careful. I knew this and I need it for storing lightweight items, so it suited my purposes. But don’t go thinking that you’re going to stock this baby with gallons of paint. Please. So, for me it worked fine. It has a strap you can screw the top to the wall with, and I recommend that you use it, because it could tip over. I will keep you updated if it fails to hold up in the long run. As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product. I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too. My policy is to try to write the kind of reviews I want to read and to update my reviews if for some reason the product fails to perform as advertised during the period it's warrantied for. • we bought and put together (4) of these units - GREAT CABINETS
Color: Silver Sycamore
We bought three of these units originally, and then returned to buy one more. They look good and work well. Happily, the directions were clear and easy to read. The predrilled holes were all in the right places, and installation went very smoothly on all four units. They take a while to put together, and you really need a power screwdriver - yes, you technically could do with a manual screwdriver, but it is so much faster and easier with even a cheap power screwdriver. I am fully impressed with these cabinets. The shelves are adjustable, and it seems well made and should last a long time of regular use. We bought the grey color cabinets, and the color is just right. Thank you ... show more

  • Great for the price Great for the price
Color: Silver Sycamore
Its not the best quality but assemble was very easy and it is cheap so i cant complain. It feels more plastified than i anticipated but overall size is great and looks are great. Biggest concern how long it will last i personally like the depth.

  • Not built to last
Color: Highland Oak
I’m a little disappointed in the quality. I didn’t expect a last forever product but I’ll be surprised if this lasts a year. The doors are flimsy and with the magnets being at the bottom the doors bend a ton every time they are opened. It looks very nice right now but again, I will not be surprised if it warps, cracks, or gets moisture damage being in the bathroom. I think it’s a little pricey for what it is. It was easy to assemble but relies on the thin back panel to maintain the cabinets shape. If the cabinet is placed on an uneven floor (which our bathroom unfortunately has) the cupboard will shift and lean. It’s still usable with the door adjusted to this new shape, but again this product is not going to last a long time. ... show more

  • Good quality and color is beautiful Good quality and color is beautiful
Color: Silver Sycamore
The final product is super cute and the quality is great. However, I put it together by myself and it did take a couple of hours. The box was very heavy, had to take out piece by piece to carry up my stairs. My doors ended up being uneven at the end, but I was too tired to fix them same day, so will need to come back to this. Lots of space inside! ... show more

  • Don’t do it. Don’t do it.
Color: Soft White
Shockingly poor quality. I didn’t have high expectations going in- I know what I’m getting with particle board, but this product is a whole new level of trash, and the quality of materials is completely unacceptable. The material is so thin it bends. I am not new to assembling flat pack furniture. I have never had any issues that I couldn’t solve on my own thus far. I was shocked to encounter a bottom plinth that structurally depends on cheap plastic brackets with screws whose heads don’t even overlap the holes appropriately. And that’s supposed to bear the entire weight of the unit. The cabinet compoments are so thin they bend, and the walls/center support are less sturdy and weighted than the actual doors. I didn’t even make it that far into assembly, though. Despite following instructions carefully, a wood screw with a poorly drilled pilot hole popped through the center support. When I tried to assemble the sides to see if it would be structurally salvageable, I then discovered that the pilot holes to connect the cross-supported shelf were over 1 inch misaligned. It was impossible to complete assembly. I was already concerned it wouldn’t be safe for my kid to store toys in- and this just sealed it for me. This went directly into the dumpster. The material is so soft that the wood screws don’t even feel structurally sound once sunk in. I didn’t see how I could have even moved it into position without it breaking. No good. If it had been less flimsy, they could have at least used cams and cam locks. The paint finish looked like trash, too. I was originally planning to buy 3 of these. Not anymore. Don’t buy this. ... show more
