I have been searching for a simple "easy to read" dependable watch on a budget (below $75) and I think I found it with this Timex Watch. I have a small wrist and I don't like those metal stretch type bands as they pinch me. I wanted a nice leather band and a face that I can actually read. This watch was the perfect size as I prefer a larger watch face anyway. This was actually a smaller face than what I thought but I really like it. The leather band matches anything I wear and I like the fact this lights up well when I need to see it in the dark. I also prefer silver instead of gold on the watch face. I think silver looks more updated than a gold trim on the face. This will be my everyday wear watch and I hope the battery will last a while. So many watch batteries die within the first few months and then you have to pay another $20 to take it in to replace. Most stores don't bother to replace it after you purchase a watch from them and the battery dies after only a month. We live in a very lazy non customer service society that its disgusting. I will update this review if this battery dies in the first few months. It was packaged well and the plastic clip was intacted preventing the battery from running while in the package. Timex does have a reputation for dependable watches which is why I bought this watch. I recommend this watch for those who want a classic, easy to read, dependable watch. ... show more

I wear jeans most of the time so I bought this watch with the navy blue croc band. I love it. It is so easy to read and is a great watch for these tired eyes.

Timex quality is still the best. This watch has leather wrist band and clear numbers, easy to read and like the cream color face ( rather than white). Just be aware that the watch is quite heavy. The face was larger then I expected so does spin on my thin wrist.

I needed a new watch, and decided on Timex because of its reputation as quality watch makers. Although others on amazon website looked nice, I didn’t trust their reliability. My new Timex watch is perfect for my use, easy to read as the name implies, nice leather strap will not break, classy casual look. I have extremely low vision and I’m using Siri to write this. Please excuse any strange words. A friend of mine recently went to a nursing home and threw the change lost her watch so I wanted to send her a watch that look good and that she could read this one was picked out by Amazon when I was speaking with them as a great product I sent it to her. It was a little bit skeptical, and all she has done is say how wonderful it is how well it fits and how well it looks on her and how easy the numbers are to read. What a great choice. It made me look like a hero. I would gladly order this again and recommended to somebody. The price is certainly reasonable and looks good on her and that’s all the counts.
