I got this watch maybe a week ago and I like it a lot. I actually wanted to get an analog watch specifically for the sound it makes so I'm very happy with this. It is pretty loud, especially when placed on a hard surface. Place it on something soft like a pillow or a blanket if you want it to be quieter when you sleep. I wear this watch every day, and it doesn't let me down! The quality is exactly right for the price, this meaning that the strap and latch holes are fraying after six months of everyday wear. I don't have anything to say that other comments haven't already been addressed, so I'll bullet-point it. 1- Yes it is loud, but if it doesn't bother you during the day it will only bother you at night 2- It is a very good-looking watch, I get compliments all the time, and it is entirely functional 3- The quality is less than perfect, but given the price, this is WAY WORTH IT! love the simplicity and really like the military time under the analog #s, pressing the side button gives a green light to see watch in dark. love it. strap is a little too long but still works for smaller wrist. Would not recommend for anyone with less than 7 1/4 inch wrist.

You can't beat the value for the money! I got it on sale for $27. It's accurate, looks good, and is comfortable. What more can you ask for? I own many Timex watches, and yes, this model may tick loudly but that's part of the charm!
