For some reason the title says it's a boy's watch. It's actually a girl's watch. We bought this for our daughter when she started learning to tell time, and she loves it. It's been really durable and reliable. It's gotten knocked around, dropped, lost, found, dunked in tub and sink water, left out in the sun and rain, driven over with toy cars, you name it. And it still works, and she still loves it. Wears it all the time. It keeps good time, it's easy to read, and it's cute. My 9yo daughter really liked the watch. The band was comfortable, the hands are labeled "hour" and "minute" to help her better learn to tell time, and it has a second hand. The second hand, however, fell off (and it's actually a disc rather than a hand) after about 3 months of moderate use--she definitely was not hard on it. When we initially called Timex (sine we were out of the window of return for Amazon), they said due to a factory that had to shut down temporarily they were months behind with repairs and we should call back later. We called two months later, and they gave us the option of shipping the $20 watch back to them and getting it back in two months, or sending them a checking for $10, and paying the shipping ourselves to return the watch and they would send us a new one. That process makes it a few bucks cheaper than just buying a new watch. So overall, definitely disappointed in the both quality, and the manufacturer "guarantee". ... show more
