I lost an $800 Hamilton and bought this one as a stop-gap watch until I wanted to invest in another costly Hamilton. I like this one so much, discreet look, nice design, not clunky, good quartz and nice glass -- I may not get a new Hamilton. I replaced the good band with a grey silicone quick-release and it looks very good. Great watch and a good value. Black and fauxtina version includes Indiglo without the name on the dial. I actually like it that way, since it makes it harder to tell the watch is contemporary. I really like Timex's straps. I have several from watches, all under $50 and I rotate them out and use them on other watches. Usually the strap is the first thing to get set aside and upgraded on a cheap(er) watch but Timex does a good job. This one is woven fabric with a nice zigzag pattern and stitching to match the markers. Underneath is a plasticky "genuine leather" but it's fine to add some body. ... show more

I love this watch! It's is my favorite business casual watch. It is simple, beautiful, easy to read. If I knew I was going to like it this much, I would have gotten it in several styles. I'm still thinking I might get another one.

I first bought a scout expedition, but it broke in a week. Returned it and got this. The details are much better on this and it feels more solid. Strap is alright. A little loud, but not bad. Keeping great time so far.

I haver some significantly more expensive watches from luxury brands. I however just wanted a timex... I bought three after this one. It looks good, wears good, and i have small wrists. I do not regret it. My luxury are Swiss and Japanese made high end, and i do not feel like i am wearing a "cheap" watch when i wear this, which is 1-2 times a week. ... show more
