Description

This Timex men's T26481 two-tone dress watch has a classic style that is distinguished by its two-tone look. Gold-tone Arabic-numeral indexes and hands adorn a clean charcoal-gray dial. The stainless steel bracelet and round bezel are two-toned with silver and gold for a classy and subtle look. A day and date window is at the three o'clock position and the Indiglo night light provides even illumination of the dial at the push of a button. This watch has a quartz movement and a mineral crystal. It is water resistant to 99 feet (30 meters). You can tell a lot about a man by the watch he wears. This one is handsome and well-made. Plus it's a Timex, so you can feel good about it.

Personally, I have found this inexpensive Timex men's watch fits the bill for me. I like the dark face and the large numbers, which make it easy to see (even for those of us of enhanced maturity, who wear reading glasses for those troublesome close-ups). The band is a tad large and loose - but since this is a man's watch and I am female, that is to be expected. But I actually prefer a looser watch band, so that is not an issue - and obviously, resizing a watch band is not rocket science, should you want to adjust it. This is my second identical Timex. The battery in the first one lasted maybe 15 years and the watch still worked all that time. I was too hasty in trying to replace that battery and damaged the watch (couldn't put the back on properly and broke the crystal). So for the price 15 years of service is really good. Even the occasional use of the light feature (while traveling when I couldn't see a real clock at night) didn't run down the battery. ... show more

I have worn nothing but a Timex for at least twenty years now. This is the third one and the best one of all. The gold plated hands and black face are easy to read even in low light. Love this watch. I had to get the band sized down a few links, but love the convenience of an expansion band but the look of a bracelet. Iniglo feature is worth it alone. I love that it has an extra long band. I have very thick wrists and have a hard time finding a watch with a band that will fit. This one fits perfectly. My old eyes have a bit of a hard time reading the numbers as the face is dark blue w/gold numbers and it's a little more difficult to read. I recommend a white face with the gold numbers. Bought as a gift for Dad. He's in his 70s, so easy functionality is just as important if not more important than the appearance. It was easy for him to set and has kept time well. He even gets compliments on it and at under $50, that's great considering the price. The one thing is that he would have preferred a non-elastic band. There's noting better than a Timex. My husband goes through watches (unless it's a Timex) like others go through socks. The only watches that have been durable and reliable have been a Timex. This one looks like a more expensive watch and works very well.
