This case is made of solid plastic so it will protect your iPad mini from drops. It comes with a screen protector as well but I didn’t use it. It has a slot for an Apple Pencil built into the front of the case. I don’t use an Apple Pencil, and it does make the case about ½” wider, but I still like it. You can’t really use it for a regular stylus as it has to attach magnetically to the iPad else it just falls out. The rear of the case has a rotatable hand strap which is reasonable comfortable to use for extended periods. It also comes with a carrying strap that lets you hang it around a car seat headrest for backseat viewing. I don’t use that either. Overall it is a well made, fairly lightweight iPad case. It of course makes the iPad mini much larger and thicker in your hands, but without a case an iPad is too slippery and fragile to hold.

I was pleasantly surprised at the case from timecity when I put in on my new iPad mini 6. I didn't realize that it came with two covers - one with a screen protector and one without [for putting on a separate protector]. I've used the one with the built-in screen protector and it's worked out quite well so far. I was and will be using this iPad for rugged, outside use so the bright orange and the hand straps were quite handy. I also like that the case came with a kickstand too! I am quite pleased with it so far.

This was a hard review for me because I have such mixed feelings and I am to honest. Dont get me wrong, for the priceThis product was fantastic for Kids that has good drop coverage, would be great for little hands. great little holder and stand ( FOR KIDS! ) For what I needed it for was not to my satisfaction. I needed to carry this all day and used a lot The strap on the back did not fit my hand very well ( WAY TOO SMALL ) The kickstand was very good to watch videos but was not angled well for typing ( This may not have been built for that tho so that could be ALL ME LOL.) But it did nicely lock in place. The straps where pretty good but for having 900 to a 1000 dollar IPad being carried all day should have had better secure staps not string at the end. Attaching to the pad. But really what did I expect for the price. The rubber was great around the whole case but for most of my charging cable I put in in came right back out due to that rubber hard to keep it charging over night. Over all its a fantastic case ( ONCE AGAIN FOR CHILDREN ) but as a working adult that needed to use for professional use daily not a good fit. So for Adults I give a rating of 5 out of 10. But for kids I will give a 8 out of 10. So that is why out of 5 I gave a 3 over all. Just because this was not a fit for me it could be for you. I guess it just depends how you are going to use it. ( LIKE EVERYTHING ) But I would say if I did not cut the handle in the back I would have sent this product back and let them keep the money. So if it is for your kids I recommend it. Hope this help on your choice.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve dropped my IPad mini a few times and there was zero damage. This case is very versatile and rugged. It’s easy to install, and to use with one hand. The back of the stand rotates so the user can put their table into different viewing positions. There is a handle to hang it on an object for convenience. There is a long carrying strap which is not shown.
