I'm pretty impressed with this case. It consists of several parts with a combination of hard plastic and soft rubber bumpers. It came with the straps already attached, which was nice, though the instructions were written as if they're not normally attached. To put your tablet in it, pull back the rubber bumpers to unsnap the upper frame from the lower case. If you need to attach the straps, then each one can be threaded through the two corner holes. These two straps with fasteners can either be affixed to a small handle type strap, or a shoulder strap. Both are included. Once the small straps are threaded through the holes, lay your tablet down in the lower case. There is a soft cushion to help protect the back of your tablet. When it's in place, snap on one of the two upper covers. One cover has a firm screen protector over it, covering the whole screen. The other is just a frame, allowing you to use your own screen protector if you wish. When the cover you choose is snapped in place, push the rubber bumpers back in and you're good to go. There is an adjustable strap on the back that you can slide your hand into so that you don't have to grasp the edges. The strap can be made looser or snug. I have large hands and I was able to open it up to fit my hand inside, allowing me to just hold up my hand and use the tablet. The strap is attached to an easel that snaps out, and the easel can be rotated so that you can prop up the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode. Speakers, cameras, microphones, and sensors are all protected by rubber bumpers around them, while the push buttons on the side are underneath larger rubber buttons, protecting them but still allowing you access to them. I purchased this for my son's tablet and found it to be rugged and very helpful with all of the features from the integrated kickstand, the hand sleeve, and carrying rope handle. I highly recommend this case.

It weighs as much as the tablet

I got this for my wife. So far she likes it, especially the rotating hand hold on the back. the only complaint she has is how much weight it added. She had been using a book cover style case but had issues with the tablet coming out of the holder. When she wore out the folding edge of the book style case she asked if I could find something better. This case holds the tablet much more firmly and doesn't have any moving parts. This case is easy to put on. The rubber part stretches over the edges of the tablet, and the plastic rim snaps into place to hold everything together. There are two rims. One with a screen protector, and one that is open. My wife likes the open rim. Although the protector rim works as it should, she didn't like the feel of it against her finger as well as the tablet's glass screen. ... show more

Great Tablet Samsung A8 case

I bought this for my new Tablet after reading the description & watching the video... This Samsung Tab A8 case is the best, it completely encloses the tablet and the screen protection that comes with just snaps into the frame enclosure.. No problems with touch sensitivity it works great and protects the whole tablet, easy to wipe finger prints off the protection screen. On off buttons & sound button all work great with a nice built in cover to keep the charge USB clean. Great stand on with back with an adjustable hand hold that I use all the time also have quick snaps for included shoulder strap to carry around. ... It has to be one of the simplest snap together total protectors I have bought.. Seems well thought out..... Great purchase for me... ... show more

Please sell individual parts to this case!!!!! It would be so helpful! I purchased this based on the reviews from others saying it was durable enough for their autistic children, because if you know, YOU KNOW! It proved itself in a matter of 5 days because my son had tossed it off the counter top and it was fine. He accidentally dropped it while going down the stairs and it tumbled corner to corner all the way down to tile floor and the tablet lived. It is, however, not "smashed into car door proof." FML, hahaha. My son got out of the car, the tablet was falling, the car door was closing, SMASH. Corner off the car door to the screen. Completely punctured the protective cover and the screen broke. Everything on the case is fine except for the screen cover, so I wish they sold the cover separately so I could repurchase that one part. Instead, I will end up having to buy a completely new case, which just seems wasteful in product parts, but that's my personal opinion. I'll be sure to save the current case I have for parts just in case I need to those in the future. At the end of the day, the case served it's purpose for the 6 days we had it on my son's tablet so i'm still giving it the 5 stars and recommendation to buy! ... show more

So I've had this case for 6 months now, and I love every aspect about, sadly the kickstand just broke which sucks but I can handle that, just have to prop it on my lunch bag at work now so not an inconvenience. Shock case is sturdy and the rubber on it hasn't shown any sign of wear or coming apart from the plastic, has a screen protector (plastic) front or an open face front panel, and the rotating handle on the back is my favorite for walking or laying in bed, at first thought it was in the way of the kickstand but I can say I didn't pay it any mind after about 2 weeks and had unconsciously worked out how to open the kickstand and close it without any interaction with the handle. 5 star because kickstand is almost always the 1st thing to go out on a case but isn't a big inconvenience yet the case itself is same as it was when I got it so outstanding quality ... show more
