I love the hand grip on the back! It’s perfect!!! Adjustable to fit large hands. Also love the shoulder strap! Where has this been all my life?? These folks are making items like it’s 2030 and I’m stuck in 1999. Can’t say enough good things about it! It’s sturdy and built well. The tools that are provided are great for popping the case open. You have an option for a face with no plastic covering OR you can use the face plate that comes with a built in screen protector. It’s a win win situation. All openings are covered and I feel like my new iPad is very safe in its housing. It fits the gen 7 iPad like a glove! The kick stand is great for when I’m sitting at my desk. Most all other times I’m using the hand grip. Would highly recommend this to anyone, especially for use with kids. Keep those expensive tablets safe! ... show more

First review was in December 2019 by May my sons iPad had a cracked screen buy at your own risk. This case is really beefy. Great price & great quality so you can’t go wrong. I ordered this case for my 8 year old who really needs a robust protective cover and I am happy with this purchase. I have always used the more expensive cases in the past, however this time I was in a pinch trying to find one before Christmas and the name brand was out of stock. I poured through hundreds of reviews and eventually settled on this one and my first impression is this thing really measures up and you can’t beat the price point. UPDATE: 6 months later my sons iPad has a cracked screen. I have another iPad that I’ve had for 5 years with an Otterbox and it doesn’t have a scratch. It has been beaten up way more than the new one. Sorry to bring bad news but if you are buying the case for a child go with the name brand. ... show more

We just received the case and installed it. Upon initial inspection, I was impressed with the sturdiness of it. I opened the package, and saw the tools that came with it. I knew I was in for a treat. Yes, that’s sarcasm. Haha-If you need tools to get a case on, it usually means it will be a PITA. It proved to be just that. I actually looked for an install video to make sure I was doing it correctly. I did not find one mentioned anywhere. Regardless, I kept chugging along. It took a good 30 minutes to get it all on and done correctly. I do believe it’s going to be a great case. The only flaw I believe that we will have is the silicon is not a very good fit as you can see from the photo. It has to be mashed back into place often. This part of the silicon was raised just from carrying it for a minute by the strap. This is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. There are a few other spots where these seems like it will be an issue in those places as well. ... show more

This case is everything I wanted for my old Galaxy tab and never got. The very first night I put my precious new iPad into the case, I was stupid enough to lay it on a jacket on the table. Later, when I grabbed the jacket off the table, having completely forgotten about putting my iPad on it, the jacket was heavy and I gave it a good yank. Well, the iPad came flying off the jacket in spectacular fashion and flew straight to the floor, where it bounced a few times, finally landing face down. This case protected it perfectly! It bounced because the edges and corners are rubber. Great protection and easy to grab and hold onto. Not only does it offer great protection, but the stand is fully awesome!!! I rotates so you can move it to any orientation. Its perfect for me because I use my iPad for Instagram and for art so Im always changing the orientation. I cannot recommend this enough. It saved my iPad from certain destruction, is easy to hold and carry around and the stand is something I could not live without. ... show more

I really like it, but not perfect. I am using the one with the screen protector and the screen is loose at top and bottom making it harder to use iPad. Also, things like hairs and small pieces of dirt get in at the bottom where the hole is for the bottom button. 2 months in and NOT happy at all. The rubber over plug cane off a month ago. The final straw was the loose hanging at strap broke. Will be buying a different case now. Don’t waste your money if you want a case to last longer than 2 months ... show more

I didn't have very high expectations when I ordered this case. I thought it was going to be a flimsy cheap thing that falls apart when you try to install it. I am completely blown away by the quality of this case. There are two different fronts you can use to snap on, one with a built-in screen protector and one without. I have used it with the screen protector that comes on it and without and it works very well both ways. I've used it with the shoulder strap and I've used it with the tiny little piece that makes it into a handle. If you're not looking carefully you won't know what it is, but basically it is like a dog collar that clips onto each side at the lanyards to make it into a little handle. Don't lose the little piece. The ports are all cut out and lined up perfectly and very easy to use. I ordered the light blue teal color and I love it, it's so pretty. The pen holder does its job very well. I was skeptical because it's so small, but it really does give good grip and there's no way the pen will fall out on its own. The back has a kickstand which rotates 360 degrees and a piece of velcro that you can slip your hand under for easy holding. This is a feature found in some very expensive cases and I've never found it done so well on an inexpensive case such as this. It turns when you want to and the kickstand works pretty well. It's not as sturdy as some other types of kickstands but it is a sturdy as it can be for this type of case. To retract the kickstand you just press down on a button at the top and it will go right back in... there is a picture with a red circle drawn around a little button. There is another picture with red circles drawn around lanyard options, you can put them in multiple places for different ways to carry your iPad. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. My only gripe is that the blue color on the shoulder carrying strap doesn't match the blue color on the case, but for twenty two bucks I'm still pleased. ... show more
