So far so good with these boots! I was about to order the Thursday Captains when these popped up as a recommended item. The styling, color, and shape of the boots is fantastic. The exact style I was looking for. I bought these primarily for use on my motorcycle and the picture below shows the boots after one ride. The leather feels good and I can tell they’ll break in nicely. The leather is quite thin which is where I imagine most of the cost savings is. Again, this is fine for me because I prefer a boot that protects but doesn’t hot box my feet out on a ride. Overall, at the price point I’m happy with the purchase. I wear a US Men’s Size 11 in Adidas and Nike, and 12 in Puma tennis shoes. The 10.5 fit perfectly for the boots. Just enough tough wiggle room for thicker socks if I need them but not so much room that they feel clunky.

This boot is a direct copy of Thursday's Boot Company Captain's boot. Much better value. I can't tell the difference between the two, fits well, and appreciate the weathered look.

I do not recommend purchasing these boots. They do not seem like leather at all. Smells like vinyl or something. They have a very strong chemical smell. They look good, but I seriously doubt they will last long. The souls look very cheap. I was very excited about this purchase, but once opened, we immediately noticed that the quality seemed off. We will be returning them and searching for something of a higher quality.

They're cemented, not a Good Year welt. So, they'll separate easily from the sole. Leather is very stiff and uncomfortable for the first few wears. Another minus is that it wears like a shoe more than a boot. I almost threw them away, but decided to give them to someone. I purchased Thursday Boots for a little more money. Now, THOSE are some nice, quality boots.
