The build quality of this backpack is really solid. It's a long and slim bag, so fits your back well, but this also means you can't put something thick in it. The main compartment is a deep, big pocket, so things at the bottom is hard to reach if it's packed. There's a also deep slash pocket in the main compartment besiedes the one for the laptop, I hope they can add some shalow mesh pockets as well for easy access.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband who previously had another Timbuk2 backpack that was starting to get worn out and was no longer big enough for him to use for work + carrying other items. He hasn’t had a chance to use this yet since the holiday but seems to be exactly what he wants!

Best water-bottle pockets I have ever had on a backpack. Love the looks. Just not enough organization/usable-room for me. The tapered bottom made it frustrating to use and the outside pockets are not really usable if you have anything in the bag, even if "expanded". I have used timbuk2 for years and may give another model a go in the future if my cycling picks up again and takes more importance over organization and volume.

It's a really nice pack - Good materials; seems built to last a while; very well thought-out with little details everywhere; and I like the look - good enough for the office. But I don't always carry a lot of stuff and it is just a little too big for me. Also, it's $$$. So I ended up returning it and am going to downsize.

I like Timbuk2 Parker Pack in general and I am going to use it. Note that the new product from Timbuk2, LIGHTWEIGHT PARKER BACKPACK, has a serous issue with the main compartment zipper's storm flap, this classical version does not have the issue. One thing I was disappointed to is, however, that the size zipper is a bit too narrow to put my macbook pro 15inch with protection cases, even though Timbuk2 website says it can fit 15inch laptops. The laptop compartment is large enough to fit it, but we need to put 15inch laptops from the main compartment zipper.
