  • Great boot!
As always, these Timberland boots felt great from the moment I first put them on. I own a brown pair and a black pair. It's the only boot I buy.

  • Its a great boot for tower work.
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown V1
I work on 300 foot towers and have been using these boots for over 6 months; I will buy these again when they fail in a couple of years. Size: Timberland run bigger than most other boots in my experience and after trying on at retail store I bought a size down. They also offer wide sizes which is a big plus for me. Comfort: Out of the box they are very comfortable, the insert is very good quality. I have worked 12+ hours on my feet and they feel great at the end of the day. However; I went on a hike in them the first day and the rear heel shank on the left boot gave me a lot of discomfort, but hasn't bothered me since. I don't recommend hiking in them. Durability: The soul is coming off around the edges, and the red tread on the bottom is starting to peel off, but can be glued back. The leather on the steel toe seems to get chewed up faster than the rest of the boot but it hasn't split open yet. I don't expect the boot to last more than a couple of years but I would buy again since there is no break in time. Very comfortable, but kind of pricey for something that doesn't feel built to last. ... show more

Comfortable, Lightweight and Durable. About the 10th pair I've purchased.

  • No complaints from me.
Size: 10 Color: Brown
I am on my 7th pair of these boots over the last 10 or so years. I test concrete, soil and asphalt among other things so I get these COVERED in concrete and mud on a daily basis. I have had a few 30 lb concrete test cylinders fall off a cart about 18" onto the toes and not felt a thing. These boots get chewed up pretty good on sharp objects and hold up well. I have only had one pair of boots fall apart at the seams after 1.75 years and that was about 2009. I usually replace them once every year to year and a half because the leather itself gets too chewed up and they look too ugly or they start to smell from being wet too often. The laces were pretty cheap back in the day and would break after 6 months, but they seem to have fixed that. And I still haven't found ANY boot other than Merrill hiking boots that really make it easy to stand in day after day. These are pretty good, but I still eventually end up putting some sort of gel insert in them. Then I am good to go for another 6 months. I do like the softer leather and the low cut upper section on the back by the achilles heel that allows for a tight fit and lots of movement. I usually have to put some brown shoe polish on every 3 months to help make them last. And that yellowish decorative yellow line on the sole usually falls off after a year, but it doesn't affect performance at all. I bought my last pair on here about a year ago for only $92, MUCH cheaper than the like $140+ Sears wants for them, but I see now the price right now is around $130. If you can get them for around $100, TOTALLY worth it. I am hoping for a last minute Christmas sale! ... show more

I've had three pairs of these boots. I really like them. I work in a poultry plant doing 12 hour nights. After 12 hours on a wet slippery floor my feet always hurt. They hurt a little less wearing these boots.

  • Great Work Boots
Size: 12 Color: Black
Good work boot as far I can see. Bought in black since I work in security. A bit stiff but looks very sturdy with no vents so it water resistant. It looks very nice and fits great. Since it's composite toe I went 1/2 size larger. I changed out the shoe laces to round boot laces since the laces it came with are more for Nike AF's not for boots & didn't tighten up effectively with those laces. I got a deal on these probably due to blemished shoe box but the boots itself weren't damaged and I have no complaints. ... show more
