Only downsides for me are they take about 2-3 weeks break in depending on how active you are at work. Wish the toe box was wider. Other than that after broke in excellent working boots! Very comfortable and nice fit true to size. The ankle support is phenomenal I can’t tell you how many times this stabilized my ankle from full on rolling. Water proof enough for me I don’t go jumping in puddles but I’ve been in a ton of rain lately and feet never got wet from puddles or splashes. Toe box is strong and dependable. I really wanted to like these boots. They are lightweight and nice-looking. However, the size isn't accurate. I wear a size 11 wide, and they were too tight, causing my feet to hurt. I still give them 4 stars because they are a nice boot and again, very lightweight. I would recommend these; beware, they run a bit small. I did wear them in the snow, and they are indeed waterproof, as they claimed, and my feet stayed warm. I can't comment on the cushioning because I've always used an insole in every shoe or boot I've owned, and I've never had an issue until now. ... show more

They cool for the first month they become very heavy not enough padding to last all day you get tired fast they look cool tho , also the waterproof wrap tears easy it’s more of a inspector shoe not for real electricicans in the field 😎

After previously owning three other pairs of timberland PRO boots I can say with certainty that the quality of their boots is on a downward trend. The boots look good and were very comfortable out of the box but the quality of materials used and the stitching leave a lot to be desired. The treads immediately began to delaminate and the tab that you use to pull the boot on to your foot began to tear the first time I put them on. Less than a year later of regular 40 hour a week wear and these boots look several years old and are completely falling apart. They are actually splitting down the middle in the back.
