Our Keele Ridge Work hiker is designed and reinforced for the most demanding jobs at hand while offering the comfort and performance of your favorite hiking boot. Its rugged, Premium Timberland waterproof nubuck leather and mesh upper features an internal waterproof membrane for maximum protection from water intrusion. This boot also includes a steel safety toe and electrical hazard protection. The breathable, moisture-wicking lining is made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, the outsole is made of slip- and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber for enhanced traction.

These boots are well-made, as you expect with Timberland products. My son wears them for his job and says that they are very comfortable - they didn’t create any hot-spots or pressure points that caused pain or blisters, so essentially, he didn’t really need to “break them in.” The steel toe has already saved his toes a few times from heavy/solid objects and the reinforced layer at the ends of the toes keeps the boot looking good and not scuffed up. They are durable, provide solid support - especially to his ankles, grip surfaces well without slipping, and run true to size. He doesn’t have wide feet or any issues generally when buying a pair of shoes as far as fit goes, and these were no different. Timberland pro are my number 1 go to boot. They are very comfortable to wear all day and are super durable. They fit perfect, are slip resistant and never have given me blisters. I work on cement all day and they keep your feet good. I have worn plenty of different styles but these are my favorite ones. They are safety toe and still are really light. ... show more

I still got these pair of boots! I am about an upgrade soon so more likely will be getting these pair again. Comfort is great but always try and add an insole for arch support. Quality is durable and the price fits my budget. True to size firs me good.kind of slippery during harsh or heavy snow but, not that bad. And they fit my style of clothing for work. ... show more

    • Decent work boot out of the box

The Timberland Pro Keele Ridge safety toe work boots arrived quickly, and looked as good as advertised. The boots seem to fit true to size (I ordered an 11.5, normal width), and they fit my foot well in terms of length and width, with just a hint of roominess. The toe box even accommodated my wide forefoot. I like the sizing as I will be able to wear these in the winter with wool socks and not have cramped feet. There is no insulation (thinsulate) in these boots, so adding layers is important for those working outdoors in winter climates. The boots' upper material is comfortable and seems to be breaking in well. The hard toes are just like any other boot in terms of flexion point near the base of the toes, but seems to be decently padded on the inside. It would be nice if the insole was a little more padded or spongy, but that's my personal preference. The boot is in no way compromised by the stock insole, and most people may find it acceptable. The shoes waterproof ability has barely been tested, but has held up well so far. The biggest gripe I have about these boots is the lack of a lace through spot on the tongue to keep the tongue from slipping from side to side during twisting types of activity (like shoveling). At less than $100, I feel I have made a better value decision than a much more expensive pair of Red Wings, or similar, safety toe work boot. ... show more

I always go back to this style and brand because they offer a comfortable durable boot at a halfway decent price. I think for what I paid there's probably not much out there that would offer better. I love the protection this boot gives me. The grip is very good and durable and the weight is just light enough to not bother my loose knees so I don't have to sacrifice durability for a light boot, this boot is just the right balance for me. My only concern with this pair is some of the stitching for the re-enforced toe is already starting to give out. If I'd given a little more thought I would have stayed with the same brand however opted for the fully re-enforced covering the whole front of the boot. This would place the stitching farther back letting wear occur. I will hopefully get a year out of them and not look like a hobo by that time but I'm not optimistic. This a style for a job site foreman who might help you hold or carry something not for someone doing the real work. Great boot I just question the durability of this style. ... show more

They fit good, they’re waterproof, they’re a fair price, they look good, BUT they aren't super durable. 3 weeks (15 days of work) in these boots and they’re already getting really beat up on the jobsite.
