I originally bought these as I was starting to go into the roofing business and knew it would be wise to have these. I wear these daily and they are showing no signs of wear and tear. These shoes are extremely comfortable. The cushioning in them are phenomenal. I feel more comfortable on a roof when wearing these. They are not the most inexpensive shoes but they’re worth every penny. The steel toe protects my toes and the material the bottom is made out of helps keep my feet under me. It’s a softer material so I’ve noticed some chipping and deterioration in an abnormal spot and early on in its life, however it’s thick enough to where it’s not affecting my safety. 10/10. Well, here in San Antonio, TX it's desert climate and terrain. These are the first shoes I've had that are comfortable as a running shoe, with the durability of a steel toe boot. The alloy toe is surprisingly lite and twice as strong. You can kick 8 pound rocks and you barely feel it. I had a fridge dropped on my right foot.... didn't feel it. a co workers noticed. The only change I would make is to possibly upgrade the insole to a Spenco (green one). Definitely will buy again. ... show more

I’ve never gotten safety work shoes before, have always been a boot guy but I can swear by these shoes! My feet never hurt, they aren’t too heavy, they offer great arch support and they hold up pretty well in the work environment I’m in! I work in a metal shop running CNC machines so I’m on my feet all day and do a lot of walking/running back and forth and since I started wearing these to work everyday, my feet don’t hurt, my back feels better, I have no fatigue in my legs or hips. It’s an all around great and comfortable shoe for work that fits perfect! My only complaint is and I would’ve given 5 stars had this not become an issue, but when I have to mop up my work area or if I happen to walk through water, the bottoms of my shoes leave black marks everywhere I step unless I completely dry off the bottoms so I’m constantly having to rub my shoes on a rug or avoid walking on a wet floor while at work! They are slip resistant and waterproof and do not slide when you do happen to walk through water. Other than that these are great for working in a shop environment, especially if you’re on your feet the entire shift, running back and forth between machines all day and the cost was perfect. ... show more

My old work boots were killing my feet. These new ones are super comfortable and fit very well. I work at an indoor lumber yard so all the floors are hard concrete. My right foot use to kill after driving all day on the lift and or walking around. These new Timberland pros took care of that problem and I have no foot pain anymore. They are well built and are good value for what you get out of them. The support for your feet feel amazing and they are lightweight on top of that. ... show more

Size: 11 X-Wide Color: Black/Grey-2024 New
One of the main reasons I got these shoes is for the extra wide width they claimed they came in. The ESD and claiming to be oil and slip resistant were also a plus. These shoes are none of these things. I got a 11 x-wide shoe, as I normally take a wide for my fat feet, thinking there would be a little, very slight wiggle room. Nope. They don't feel like a x-wide, and barely feel like a normal wide; more like a normal width. I've worn them every day, 8 hours a day, 5-7 days a week, since I've got them, and they are the most uncomfortable safety shoes I've purchased. If I hadn't gotten latex on them my 3rd day wearing them, I would've returned them. Which brings me to the slip and oil resist they also claim in their description. They are not. Step in some water on cement, or any oily surface, and you slip and slide. Not what I want to worry about at work when I have to run around at times. I would not, in good faith, ever recommend these shoes, and I personally will never buy this brand of shoes again. ... show more
