  • Great shoe!
I'm doing this review after I've owned these shoes until they actually wore out enough that I decided to buy another pair. I've purchased a lot of steel toe shoes/boots over the years and these have came to be my favorite. I worked 12+ hours a day, on my feet and these shoes always got a workout. Getting 8-10k steps a day on average. I've been happy with the fit, comfort, weight and how they are built to last. They are true to size for me. And once I started paying attention I realized a lot of my co workers wore these also. Makes sense right. ... show more

  • Comfortable
Color: Black/Orange-2024 New Size: 12 Wide
Awesome shoes / boots, a few months in now and they're holding up great. Non-slip is spot on, and I've shocked myself a few times with no major repercussions

  • Probably good in a light duty environment
Color: Black Size: 9.5
I liked the light weight and comfort of this shoe, and it's true to size in my experience. Also, the safety toe and electrical hazard protection makes it attractive, however it affords no puncture resistance and its construction may not make it very resilient to abrasion or hard use. I returned it and ordered the Timberland PRO Men's Hyperion 6 Inch XL Alloy Safety Toe Waterproof Industrial Hiker Work Boot, which seems to be a good compromise. Though a little heavier, it's waterproof and looks to be a lot more durable while also affording protection from punctures. If you work indoors in a lighter duty environment and desire something really light on your feet, this may be your shoe. It just didn't impress me that it would hold up well in a mixed environment and it's not waterproof. ... show more

  • Great show for active work around heavy items/machinery
Color: Black/Orange-2024 New Size: 11 Wide
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and comes in a wide sizing for my feet shape! I work in a warehouse and am often moving heavy equipment around and these shoes support my movements without any pressure points! Will be purchasing these again in the future when my pair wear out! For half the price of my old sketchers comp toes, these are for sure the winner! ... show more

  • Reliable light weight work shoe
I wear this shoe doing all types of handy man work from plumbing to construction. They are the wide versions and the toe box does not compress my toes even with the steel toe. I did add a pair of toe protectors. Brand i used is--> ( Boot Saver Toe Guards Work Boots Protector - Boot Toe Cover/Repair 1 Pair (Black) Bending down forces you to work with the toe box digging into a hard service. The rubber protects the toe box. Great shoe for the money. Update: The pictures included are after 9 months of serious work in all kinds of conditions from farming to construction. The shoe is still in very good condition, notice the bottom wear, and even the strings are still holding strong. Even though they are a composite metal toe guard i never notice they are there. YES i would purchase this shoe again. Update: July 8 2020. The Pros lasted 15 months of tough abuse from farming, to construction, even riding my mountain bike. They are tough. The shoe uppers lasted great even the laces. The bottoms wore out with holes appearing by the 15th month, however i did the bottoms no favor by riding my mountain bike with a set of small spikes on the pedal for stability. I bought another pair and they fit like a glove. I love this shoe. Update Aug 2021 Purchased my 3rd pair. My second pair lasted 13 months. The bottom of shoe held strong but the sidewalls got ripped by bobwire and eventually tore through with time. Still a great.show and the 3rd pair just as comfortable. I always add the toe protector. ... show more

  • Great boots!
Size is a hair too big. Maybe half a size, but I don't THINK it's worth returning them. Quality is good, but the insoles ARE garbage, so I'll probably be throwing them IN one. I also would've liked a little more tread, but they're supposedly slip/oil resistant. Luckily I had some Dr. Scholl's inserts that I slipped into the boots. Still breaking them in, but they're fairly comfortable. They're a little loose in the heel, so I'm concerned I might get some chafing there. We'll see. I work at a certain well-known hardware store where I'm walking, climbing ladders, bending, and twisting for eight or nine hours every day. The boots seem at this point like they'll work, provided the length and chafing aren't an issue. EDIT: These are some of the best shoes I've ever had. They last, they're comfortable once broken in, and rarely have I had any issue. I'm on my second pair, as the first was used very heavily. Likewise with this pair, I'm on my feet for 50+ hours every week, and they're still holding up. I did actually have a lace tear tonight at work, but I got nearly a year's use out of them. I'm not gentle with them either. With the Dr. Scholl's insoles--the ones you stand on the kiosk to find out which ones you need--my feet only hurt on a particularly long day. It is starting to feel like it's time for another pair, however. Regardless, I am very pleased with these boots. Just don't expect them to stay looking pretty forever. Also, don't step in any puddles if you can avoid it, they may resist water and snow a bit, but these do not do well when submerged in either. Wet feet are unhappy feet! ... show more
