Description

Our Timberland PRO Powertrain ESD athletic work boots offer lightweight performance, but they're all business when it comes to protection. Not only are their premium synthetic uppers tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, they feature alloy safety toes, Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day shock absorption and energy return, and are designed for Electro Static Dissipating (ESD) compliance to minimize hazards from static electricity buildup. Plus, wicking, fast-drying Raptek microfiber linings for comfort and lightweight outsoles made of heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non- marking polyurethane for enhanced traction. Timberland set new industry standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection when it introduced an authentic, waterproof leather boot in 1973. A global leader in design, engineering and marketing of premium footwear, Timberland values consumers who cherish the outdoors and their time in it. Timberland has been an industry leader in the use of both sustainable and recycled materials in its shoes, as well as its footwear packaging. • Good light duty boots
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Black Synthetic
This is a comparison between the Timberland PRO Powertrain and the Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport. The Timberland PRO Powertrain (TPP) has a full price of $135 and a current price of $119.95 today on 2026/06/06. It has 1599 reviews averaging 4.4 stars. ASIN is B0CKY4Y4JV. The Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport (TPPS) has a current price of $105.95 today on 2026/06/06. It has 470 reviews averaging 4.5 stars. ASIN is B0CJZKJ2YH. The TPP size 8.5 wide is 525 grams per shoe, and the TPPS is 501.7 grams per shoe. Both are very similar in dimension, but the TPP is slightly taller than the TPPS. The insoles are different, and that might have something to do with the TPP having an Electro Static Dissipative feature. The outsole looks exactly the same. A quick review of both shoes show some customers are complaining of the outsole splitting after six to nine months of use. The fabric of the TPP feels more durable than the TPPS fabric which is soft and sneaker like. The shoe laces and lacing are different. The TPP has three hoops in the lower section with two metal reinforced eyelets up top. The TPP laces are stiffer and flatter, almost like a ribbon. The TPPS has five hoops in the lower section with two non-reinforced eyelets up top. The TPPS laces are softer than the TPP laces, but still stiffer than ordinary sneaker laces. Both were equally comfortable. Though these are non-waterproof boots, they are not very breathable, but reasonable for boots. ... show more

  • Excellent work footwear: comfortable, light and safe.
Size: 10 Wide Color: Black Synthetic
I bought these Timberland PRO Powertrains for work and I'm really satisfied. From day one, they were very comfortable; they didn't require any breaking in. Despite having a safety toe, they feel quite light, which is appreciated during long shifts. The sole has excellent grip, and you can tell they're designed for industrial environments. They also help reduce fatigue, especially if you're standing or walking for long periods of time. The design is modern and discreet, ideal for those looking for protection without sacrificing style. So far, they've held up well to daily use, and the materials appear to be of good quality. I would definitely buy them again. Highly recommended if you need comfortable, durable, and well-designed safety shoes. ... show more

  • Try before you buy
Size: 12 Color: Black Synthetic
The shoes appear to be well-made and reasonably comfortable. However, they run quite narrow and fit tightly. I normally never need a wide size in any brand, but I wish I had ordered the wide option for this pair.

  • Good work shoes, Updated 9 months if wear.
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Black Synthetic V1
Right out of the box you'll notice the weight they're just a little bit heavier than your regular hiking boots. The toe box is okay allowing your toes ample room. I noticed breaking time took in just about a week 7 days to get them to bend normal and for you to wear the insole into your foot. The insult is ferlise and considering you would want a little more insole for the support you need for all day use. They are fairly stain resistant I work as a mechanic and have already gotten some solvents and oil on them and it seems to wipe off fairly easily. The reinforced Parts in the front toe allow you to use it for moving the lift with your shoe or a tire machine without it tearing up the front part of your boot. One thing that can be considered a con is you'll have to use crew socks and if you're used to using socks that are usually for running shoes they don't work on this type of boot the back part of the boots will rub on your Achilles and caused you some soreness. The width is actually wider than I'm used to it will cause you to have to tighten the laces more to keep your foot stable in the boot. In summation I kind of expected more for the money but I've owned different types of Timberland Pros and I just wanted to try these out to see how they would work out for 6 to 8 months which is what they usually last. Update: 3/19/22 They didn't make it the full year. 3 months in the soles cracked in half at the bend past the ball of my foot. This was unexpected because know I am not able to use them when it rains or on wet floors. 5 months in had to replace the insoles, the heel wore a hole through them. And finally 9 months in, no longer could walk in them, the crack in the soles wore completely through the whole shoe rendering them worthless. This was surprising, I expected alot more from a name brand shoe maker that I have trusted for years. Won't be purchasing this type of boot from the brand anymore thats for sure. ... show more

  • Extremely Comfortable
Size: 12 Wide Color: Black V1
It’s hard to have a rugged boot and comfortability in the same sentence, but these boots fit the bill! I bought them specifically for the anti-slip and they do not disappoint! The only issue, if you’re not used to a boot hitting the back of ur ankle you might experience a blister, but after a few days and a few bandaids they were fine, would definitely recommend, especially if u don’t want to slip and injure yourself, great purchase, well worth the price. ... show more
