  • Best work boots!
Size: 10 Wide Color: Brown
I wear these boots every day to work. Fully waterproof and comfortable antiseptic fatigue inserts. I always have a pair on backup in case something happens. Beat to heck and back but keep performing.

  • Comfortable after some lacing adjustments.
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown/Black Distressed
After experiencing metatarsal issues working on concrete for 12 hours a day, up to 6 and even 7 days a week, I really wanted to find a remedy. While I can’t say these boots solved the problem, I’m not sure any boot could have at that point. I still wear them for long hours but I’m not on my feet nearly as much as I was, so that issue is solved, for now. What I can say about these boots is that the removable insole is much better than any other boots I’ve worn or tried on in the last while. They’re thicker than most. The boot itself is pretty comfortable though a bit heavy. I didn’t have to really break them in, but they aren’t overly flexible. I think this helps them in terms of durability though. The (4) lacing notches are useful for lacing the boots up in different forms. This was critical for me because if I laced them straight up, utilizing all the notches, I found the metal pieces under two of the notches to cause painful pressure against my ankles. There are videos on YouTube on how to lace boots, especially hiking boots, if anyone needs tips on how lacing can affect wear and comfort. They’re often helpful for work boots, too. ... show more

  • Fit well, lightweight, durable.
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown/Black Distressed
Pretty comfortable. Bought new insoles after six months. Beat them into submission after 2 years when the alloy started to show and starts pressing into my foot. They are still intact. Will get a new pair.

  • Great feel, great support and Good deal. Buy them.
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Black Distressed
6-11-19 Update: I’m now on my second pair. My first pair started to smell after a year. I put them on my peet shoe dryer every evening too. Also attached to the dryer is a deodorizer. Great set up to keep your shoes dry on the daily. The rear bottom of the first pair started to come unglued. But for being exposed to high heat at temperatures above 160f I couldn’t ask for much more. I mean can I? Lol But for the most part these are the best boots I have ever used. They are very comfortable and are nice and strong. They support my weight very well at 310lbs. I also clean up my shoes with a leather cleaner every other day or when they need it. So for a year worth of work I say they did great.. Wow these work boots are great. I have been going through pairs of work boots that are just not up to par especially that I’m a big boy. I can take my steps with confidence. The insoles that are included are the anti-fatigue with the orange circles. I didn’t know it came with that particular set so I bought the insoles separate. I’m on my second day and it feels like they are already broken in. I did receive the boots with a blemish on the side but I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. Bottom line is these are great boots and the price isn’t bad. 5 stars for providing the better insoles and a boot that contours the foot properly. They feel solid. So I hope they last. ... show more

  • Best boots ever
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown
Best boots period. Very comfortable even for me as I'm very flat footed. Only downside is they're heavier than some others. But comfort makes up for that.

  • Very disappointed
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown/Black Distressed
I bought these only after spending several hours reading reviews of work boots, and then several more hours gong to various boot stores to try on different boots. I eventually narrowed my choices down to the timberland pro hyperion and the keen pittsburgh. Part of my final decision was due to a great cyber monday sale on amazon that made these boots more affordable, but the majority of my decision was based on the fit of these boots in the store, the comfort warranty, the description of the materials and supposed care that goes into making them, and the good reviews they had received on various websites and blogs. The first pair of these boots i bought in my size on november 30. I was mildly disappointed to discover the toe box was a bit cramped. Since i would be on my feet a good 12 hours each day in these boots, it was necessary i exchange them for a half size larger. Therein lies the first disappointment - i was told i could not exchange them. I would have to return, then repurchase them. Goodbye awesome cyber monday deal! Bummer, but not too awful as i was at least still able to use the cyber week discount. Just the same, i ended up paying more than originally. I received the new pair on december 8 and, although the footbed felt a little off (due, i suspect, to the fact that i was then wearing a size slightly too large for me in order to alleviate the toe cramping), they were comfortable enough and well-suited to my work environment. Two weeks had not gone by before the rubber toe rand began peeling away from both boots (see pics). That was the second disappointment. My work is indoors. The most i have worn these boots outdoors is walking to and from my car, or into a store. They are not subject to extreme conditions by any means. Given the amount of money i paid for these boots, and in particular their price before discounts, for them to begin falling apart already, a product so highly rated and touted by the manufacturer as top of the line, makes me extremely pessimistic regarding the reliability of any replacement. Perhaps this was a pair that slipped through quality control somehow. I hope so, and that it isn't simply a case of poor quality in general. I wrote the manufacturer and was told that i should first contact the reseller. This concerns me, because i don't want to have to repurchase them at the now much higher price. I was told by one boot store i visited that the hyperion was timberland's answer to the keen brand of comfortable work boots. If i am unable to exchange these, or at least repurchase them for the original price, i will take my money to keen. ... show more
