Inspired by our original yellow boots, these Timberland PRO Direct Attach boots are waterproof and have 200 grams of insulation to help keep you dry and warm in cold-weather environments. From their premium Timberland seam-sealed, waterproof leather uppers with comfortable padded collars to their heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant rubber lug outsoles for enhanced traction, these steel-toe boots are ready to get to work. We also added electrical hazard protection and Anti-Fatigue Technology polyurethane footbeds for all- day shock absorption and energy return, plus breathable, moisture-wicking linings made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Modeled from Timberland's classic style work boot, the Direct Attach has it all and then some. With all of its comfort and hardworking technology, you would think this rugged leather boot had a mind of its own.

I haven't yet worn the boots outside, but just walking around the house on the carpet the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots feel like I am walking on air. The sole's are very thick giving the feel of thick comfortable cushioning when i walk. The outer leather material is top quality. The shoelaces however are thin and do not really allow you to properly tighten the boots on your feet. I plan to replace the laces as soon as I can get to a Foot locker or Academy Sports. I am really looking forward to wearing the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots on my Motorcycle. I bought the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots as a 2nd pair of riding boots for my Motorcycle (MC). I already have a pair of Steel toe Harness Boots for riding my MC. They are my dress up boots when I am riding, The Steel toe Harness boots look fantastic BUT they are very dressy. I go the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots because they have a more hardcore MC look to them. Plus, I didn't want to always be in my Steel Toe Harness Boots when I am riding, as they were several hundred dollars and I don't want to wear them out. Currently, out of the box, in the house, the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots are amazing. I will UPDATE this review after a few weeks of MC riding. 5 years later: I'm still wearing these boots in 2017 and they still look good. I wear them at wrk, and when riding my motorcycle. These boots are well made, durable and worth every penny. Sad day😑 in Aug 2019 my Tmberland Pro steel toe boots passed away. These boots were worth their wait in gold. I used them to do Bodyguard work, Security work. They saw a lot of fighting an kept me upright in bar fights with the wet ground. Unlike some other boots that almost got me killed. Plus, I use these boots to race motorcycles at 150mph+. Can’t say enough about these boots. So, with that in mind I just bought a NEW pair. ... show more

Needed to replace an old pair of Rocky boots that lasted me a few years. Has all the bells and whistles I needed and then some. Very durable, comfortable, and lightweight. Steel toe was just an added bonus. I walk a lot and I haven’t had any blisters or aching feet using these boots. Break in time was fairly short, just a few days. Good in the rain and snow both being waterproof and slip-resistant. Very breathable too, compared to my old work boots, my feet don't sweat or stink as much. Great traction on them for walking in rough or steep environments. Durable too, nothings penetrated the surface layer yet despite walking in all kinds of environments. ... show more

    • Great Quallity. Fourth Pair For My Son They Look Good and Wear like iron.
These boots last a long time. The pair from 2 years ago is starting to look old and scuffed, the inside inserts are worn out. My son wears these nearly everyday and the sole looks only slightly worn. They are water proof and insulated so I know he is prepared for anything at work. These boots also look good on my son. He is big and sturdy, so are the boots. If he shopped for himself, He'd try to buy cheaper boots but they would never last like these do, or look so good. He looks so much better than he would in cheap flimsy boots. The black color wears better than the brown. I have bought both. The brown looks stained and ratty sooner than this "after dark" black. His oldest pair of these are in the garage covered in mud. He'll wash those up to wear them doing yard work. He even wore them wading in some muck and they recovered, well, it was some sort of sewer muck during a class field trip, and they were already old, so they didn't look that great but a good wash, scrub, and Lysol they are useful but none too pretty. Bought these as my first pair of work boots as I needed something totally waterproof and extremely durable. Took about a month or so of continuous wear to break them in until they became "comfortable". My nature of work requires me to lift heavy objects while walking or sprinting on concrete/asphalt/dirt & grass patches. Can say that after extended use my shins begin to hurt as my toes do not flex as much. Toe box is somewhat narrow as well. The leather does gouge and scuff easily especially if you're crouching or kneeling on a rough surface like concrete or asphalt. ... show more

Feels sturdy, although if it gets wet the tread tends to start slipping. Also, it seems like my pair ran a little narrow, so if if you’re on your feet for extended periods of time you might want to get a half size up or wide versions
