I bought these boots for my son he works outside in winter, this is my second purchase of these boots, I’ve owned them for ten years working as a builder outside all winter in Michigan. The leather is still in good shape these boots are the warmest I’ve ever worn.     • Nice heavy duty boots.

These are heavy work boots with a serious sole and tread. The laces let you lace them up tight. The toe cover is a nice feature. They are hot if used in a warm climate even though they aren't insulated.

I LOVE this boot. My only complaint is that I wish I had ordered a 9.5. I got the 10 cus that’s what I typically wear in everything else. They are rock solid but a touch “blocky” I changed out the laces but that’s because I’m picky about them and like them to be tight when I tie them. The ones that came with them were a little stretchy for my liking. Really though these boots are good to go out of the box. Not the typical break in period. I would buy these again if I ever need to. I’m rough on my boots wearing them for no less then 10 hours a day 6 days a week doing tree and demo work. Update review 1/21/21: So as of last week I started having problems with the sole of the right boot coming undone from the leather on the inside of the foot. I give it four stars for the comfort and water resistance. As for the durability I give it a two because I’ve had these boots for 10 months and they are shot. Supper angry about this. You would think that a boot of this caliber and price would last you years of hard work. Guess they should have had me do the quality control. 😉 ... show more

I didn't know what to expect when I put these on. They look like they were going to be stiff, and in a way they are. They need to be broken in, any boot does. But wow are they comfortable. I wear Thorogood on the day to day, and these are honestly more comfortable on the first wear.

Comfortable is the only reason for 3 stars. Other than that, I wore them around the house for a couple hours after the first hour my foot began moving around in the boot. From side to side, I've always bought a wide boot since having to wear boots. These things are truly wide. Also the quality doesn't seem to outweigh the cost. ... show more
