I have shared a few photos of my old boots that I have had since early 2015 along with photos of the brand new ones I finally gave in and bought here in 2024. I have worked a few jobs since I bought them. I did some masonry, and construction before settling where I am now, I have a separate pair of all black shoes for my current job (also timberland pros), but these boots I wear every day for every task and they have held up through it all. Yard work, roof repair, snow cleanup, walking with the wife. These are my dailies and they are comfortable through everything. I have dug out foundations with water pouring in and my feet remained dry even when sloshing through puddles of water. They fit great, they look amazing whether dirty or clean, they are super comfortable and withstand about anything you put them through. I'm actually going to keep my old ones and use those strictly for yard work around the house, they're 9 years old but still have some life left in them. I really only replaced them because the back part above the ankle tore and I just got sick of looking at it. Great price for something you know will last for at least two years under really tough conditions. If you're on the fence about these, get off and give them a try, you will not be disappointed! ... show more

    • These boots LAST longer than any pair ive had before

I have worn work boots for my job for the past 7 years. I walk on a lot of anti-skid so the soles tend to wear out faster than anything else. Typically a pair of Redwings would last me 6 months Carolinas same thing. These however are an AMAZING find if you value durability. Please note they are not the most comfortable boots out there however as far as getting the most for your money they are awesome this is because of 2 main reasons. 1 They have a steel plate inside the sole this is done to prevent punctures from sharp objects through the bottom of the sole it does work by the way. However I attribute the fact that due to this they chose an extremely long lasting rubber for the bottom of the shoe it also makes climbing up steel ladders with quarter inch rungs far more comfortable a task. 2 If you look at the picture the steel toe is covered by a black coating of rubberized hard plastic best description I can give the material. In all the years I have had workboots. I always get some sort of toecap protector or protective coatings because as your toe bump into things and grind along the ground/floor if you are working on your knees these the leather over the steel toe would get ground away or lacerated and then you can never water proof your boots again. These come straight from the manufacturer with a coating already on the steel toe and it is superior to any aftermarket I have ever been able to find. The only drawbacks to these boots are this. The way they come they are NOT comfortable this is easily remedied by a high quality insole look up powerstep insoles on amazon they are the best I have ever gotten and will make any shoe the most comfortable shoe you have ever worn. They completely fix any comfortability issues these have. Last but on a more minor note is that the boots are made from more sturdy materials and so as no surprise they do take longer to break in mine took about 2 weeks to get totally perfect. So there ya go if your looking for high quality boots that last a LONG time get these just make sure you pick up a pair of powerstep insoles first and you wont have any problems ... show more

I bought these primarily because of another reviewer who used them daily. That's good enough for me. These will take a while before they brake in. I bought insoles like the guy suggested. I wear 10 1/2 and the boots still fit fine so maybe they run large. Interesting points - heavy boot and they take some time to break in - very comfortable, I wear them every day even though I'm not in construction - dual use top lacing means just that. They have a hole for lacing and a hook for quick lacing - Interesting that the last normal lace clasp is actually a little roller pulley. That'll make it easier to lace and easier on the laces - I wish the laces were longer. I'll have to replace the laces before I can use the berluti knot ... show more

Great boots, super comfortable even before being broken in the only problem is, is they are a little too wide, but it doesn’t affect me at work at all. I would like them to be a little tighter against my feet, but like I said, they do not affect me at all throughout an 8 to 12 hour construction work day doing concrete steel everything as a laborer in the union. This is my second pair because of the reliability and comfort. And I will continue to purchase them. I’ve had red wings and many other brands, but they do not match up to Timberland pros in any way, shape, or form ... show more

    • These don't typically run small. But boots were mislabeled. Label said 10.5-W, but were a 9.5-W.

I had previously ordered these boots for my husband and he loved them. So when he needed a new pair, we ordered the same exact ones. The boots were labeled 10.5 wide, which is my husband's size but when we received them, they were way too small, more like a 9.5. We always buy Timberland Pro, and had purchased this same exact boot previously. They have never run small before. They have always been true to size, so we concluded that it was just a fluke and that they were labeled incorrectly. The boots themselves are great quality boots, very durable. We have never had any issues prior to this. We contacted the seller and they were so easy to work with. The seller refunded me right away, even before they received my returned boots. They gave me no hassles at all. That's why I give them 5 stars. They provided the return label and covered the cost so we didn't lose anything. I boxed them up, put a copy of the address label inside the box as they recommended, just in case the outside label is damaged or lost in transit. Took it straight to the UPS store and that was it. I'm sure the mislabeling was just a one time fluke, everyone is entitled to mistakes as long as they correct them quickly, which this seller did. I would buy from them again, without hesitation. I feel bad for my husband because I kept saying "they are leather, you just need to break them in" so he wore them for 2 days and developed lumps on the sides of his feet. But that wasn't the sellers fault. I was the one who kept insisting my husband just needed to "break them in". I feel really bad about that. Anyway, that's when it hit me to compare the new boots to the previous ones we had purchased and the difference was obvious. The second pair were visibly and definitely way smaller than the first pair. it's all good now. We went to the Timberland store so my hubby could actually try on the boot before buying and we purchased the same exact boot, right size this time. LOL I'm completely confident that it was just an honest mistake in the labeling process. ... show more

I buy these for my husband. He is one that once he finds something he likes he sticks to it. Well unfortunately when he needed a new pair NONE of the stores in our area sold them any more. He left without finding any that he could "deal' with. I looked on here and low and behold same exact ones he had been earring and wanted. He wears these on a daily 6-7 times per week 8+ hrs per day.
