Basically, if you are looking for shoes to destroy them, choose another model of the same brand, but if you want shoes for day to day, riding a motorcycle (like me), or looking good with men's shoes, these are your boots. For heavy duty work, I recommend the Timberland PRO Boondock 6 ", which also look great with jeans and are also good for going out, riding a motorcycle or feeling like you are wearing shoes, not ridiculous, pointy things that destroy your feet. This is the Greatest most comfortable boot. Its very sturdy and will last you more than a year depending on the kind of work you do. The best thing i like about this boot is that the toes do not blow out. Also inside the sols of most timberland work boots have a thin metal plate. Its to stop nails from stabbing into your foot if you ever step on one. You can walk without the worry of your foot being stabbed if you ever happen to step on stomething sharp or pointy guranteed. I have tested these boots and they are the best ive ever worn. I will not wear any other brand of boot but this exact Timberland one. They are well worth the price. ... show more

Completely waterproof. Very comfortable, but I will admit I go up 1/2 size and add good inserts. I've had these out in a harsh construction environment for 1.5 yrs and they have absolutely held their ground. Bought another pair for backup.

Returned after 3 seconds. Tongue is way short, just below the top of the boot. Even tightened up just felt like there was nothing holding boot on the front. Don't know how anyone could stand wearing these no matter how comfortable
