Great tent! Did a test run in the backyard. Setup was incredibly easy for one person. Takedown took two people because tents never want to go back in the bag it came with. Material is durable. Plenty of airflow, even with the rain fly attached. Love the plastic light windows in the back that allows light in without rain. Great for stormy weather. Definitely plenty of room. Family of five is very comfortable. Height is perfect for 6' husband. Plenty of space to walk around fully upright. CON: The rain fly that serves as the door cover and porch cover zippers down the right and left side. BUT the door zipper on the actual tent zippers down the center. So when the rain fly is zipped down, it creates a struggle to get out of the tent, because the zippers are not near each other, which is a struggle. UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they are sending a replacement parts. I will continue to update as we use the tent. ORIGINAL: We absolutely loved this tent. It is so spacious inside and set up/tear down was relatively easy. It also fits back into the bag without too much frustration. However, for us, one of the pop out side assemblies broke after the second tear down. The pole twisted through the plastic and is unrepairable. Each side has 4 poles that are held together by a round manifold that is, strangely enough, made out of plastic. The poles are metal but the connecting device is plastic. These are really the only parts of the tent that undergo any stress, so why it is plastic is beyond me. Unfortunately we will have to look for another tent. The media could not be loaded. So far this tent has worked out amazing for my family of 5. Plenty of room, and with the rain fly off it has great ventilation. I’ve only had it on one trip so far but going back out next week and gonna mess around with different configurations of the rain fly. There are 3 openable screened in “floor vents” that hold open with a stiffened arm or tab and Velcro. We easily fit a Queen sized air mattress in the back room and 2 foam/air pads in the front with a smaller 12v fridge and a table. So far very pleased with the space and ease of set up and take down as well. Another bonus tons of head room, and over head storage. There are small organization pocket along the wall of each room, but they’re not very big. The storage bag also appears to have a thin pvc liner that will hopefully help with moisture and dust but could be a smidge bigger to stuff all the goodies back in it. Also purchased 2 of my own adjustable tarp poles to try using the front awning. I’ll add a picture to see how I set it up, it seems you could do the same to the sides as well. ... show more

I setup and tore down the tent 3 times (in my basement, not outside) to ensure I knew how to do it, here is my experience. -Easy to unpack and setup but difficult to pack back up due to all the air that get trapped. A removable floor or bigger windows would fix this. -The three support poles will not last. The one over the door is useless it just rolls around. The two supporting the sides will break if you put them in the support notches because they need to flex too much. Without those supports the top of the screen room will collapse with very little pressure. -Speaking of the poles, there are only 3 so if you want to use the tarp as an awning then you will either need to steal the ones from the door sides or buy some. -When you put the tarp over the tent you sweat to death because it kills most of the airflow. The 3 vents and the 6 windows are too small in the tent area and there are no vent options in the screen room area. If it rains you are going to miserable because you can't open any of the windows because the tarp does not cover them. -The absolute deal breaker for me are the 3 clear plastic windows (tent area, 1 in back and 1 on each side. There is just a flap that covers it and it hangs loose. The issue is not only do they let in a massive amount of light but from the outside you can peer into the tent. This is the only place to put the bed so you will see whomever is laying under the windows. This last reason is why my wife absolutely refuses to sleep in this tent so I have no option to return it. If these things don't matter to you then buy this tent because it is a really nice. IMO the build quality is better than Coleman and Core. For me, if Timber Ridge were to fix those then this tent would be perfect. Since I'm returning it I did not test to see how water proof it was. ... show more

Super easy set up! I’m a 62 yr old avid camping Granny and I can put it up in 10 minutes by myself. Same for take down and its fits right back in the bag! It’s a bit heavy so I use my kayak dolly to move it around! Quality fabric, zippers and storage. 😀

The media could not be loaded. Very satisfied with this purchase. We pulled the tent out in our driveway to set it up the first time before camping. It did take us literally one minute to get it set up (minus the rain cover) without even looking at the directions. We really couldn't believe how easy it was to set this thing up. It's so roomy, and we loved that it has tall entrances in and out, so you're not bending over all the time. It rained pretty hard the second day we were there with some strong winds, and it held up great. I think even when we invest in a trailer, we'll bring this along as a place to hang out away from the bugs. Even breaking it down and putting it back in the bag only takes 3-4 minutes. This is a huge plus if you have little kids running around so it's not spent setting up poles. Everyone who saw it was impressed and asked for a link to it. The ventilation isn't as good once the rain cover is on, but without it, it's great, especially in the front room. I would absolutely buy this again and will refer all my tent camping friends to it. ... show more
