we turned our den into an adult chill room. I got the blacklight strips going around the upper corner of the room (I did need to get some led strip joiners. easy to find on amazon, easier to use), and I put a switched outlet in the wall above a built in cabinet so now I just flip the light switch and the light strips come on. we got some clothes that glow under the black light (amazon purchase), my green neon balls in my eyebrow piercing glow (also an amazon purchase), and a UV reactive tapestry hanging up in there (honestly is there nothing you can't get on amazon?) these things work great. make a room cool and put these in it ... show more

These worked out very nice. I did a blacklight party in our garage and these were just what I wanted. They do have a sticky back to hang but I kept the backing on and used twist ties to hang so that I can use these over and over in other places or for another time. I purchased these lights for my elementary art classroom. I wanted to do blacklight painting with my classes. I installed this easily enough on the ceiling with tape! I didn't want to put them up permantly. The tape worked great! The lights were plenty bright and I love that I didn't have deal with lightbulbs and cords around the children- safety of course! I don't want to return these as I installed them already and the lights themselves work nicely. But the power supply is dying. It causes the lights to flicker when plugged in. I have tried my power supply from the set I have in the other room and these lights work perfectly with it. I just need a replacement power supply that isn't defective, but the seller is not helpful, so the lights are useless. ... show more

We went back and forth on what type of black lights to get for granddaughter’s Sweet 16 glow party. We decided these would spread the light around the best. We got 4 boxes because the room is about 30’x40’. In each box was 4 spools of lights. My husband figured out how to splice 2 together to make long strips. We used command strips and hooks to hang them to the ceiling instead of sticking them up, since we were renting the room. They put a bright, even black light effect over the whole room! Our dj had 2 smaller square black lights he set on his table just for his corner he was in, since we couldn’t get strips over in that space. I had a big party and these really lit up the gym! The neon and face paints reacted to them. Because it was temporary I did not attach them permanently to the wall and we were able to staple them into the wall. Very happy with the purchase.
