We went back and forth on what type of black lights to get for granddaughter’s Sweet 16 glow party. We decided these would spread the light around the best. We got 4 boxes because the room is about 30’x40’. In each box was 4 spools of lights. My husband figured out how to splice 2 together to make long strips. We used command strips and hooks to hang them to the ceiling instead of sticking them up, since we were renting the room. They put a bright, even black light effect over the whole room! Our dj had 2 smaller square black lights he set on his table just for his corner he was in, since we couldn’t get strips over in that space. I mentioned the location of the plug in the title. There are actually 4 strips that connect to two plugs, which places the plug in the center of two longer strips. Keep this in mind when you plan your layout and purchase. Otherwise, they were bright enough for indoor use with other regular lights on, still giving florescence to our neon objects. Arrived very quickly. The Pros- they stick great. The lights are very bright and look fantastic. I found them easy to install. The Cons- they stick so well that they pulled the paint from my wall when I had to remove them. The lights are quite sharp and could cut if bumped into or scraped. The lights only lasted 2 days before they burnt out. This could be my fault as I connected them to my ADT wall outlet and didn’t know it was set at dimmer 80%. There’s no warning to say this product shouldn’t be on a dimmer. ... show more
