Does NOT dry out hair or make it straw-ish like other brands such as L’ange. Both the shampoo and conditioner are “purple” to tone out any brassiness. I went from sandy blonde to platinum. The brassiness is non-existent! I only wish I would have taken a before photo! Comparable to Biolage purple toning shampoo… only better! Leaves hair soft and smelling great! ... show more

This is a combo. Both shampoo and conditioner have the purple ingredient to take away any brassiness. Less is more and the longer its on the hair the darker the tone will be. It's not overly expensive and it's a great product.

I had to add another shampoo product to it to thicken it up enough to wash my hair. Otherwise, it poured out of the container like water! Was difficult to get much lather from the shampoo. The conditioner did not help with softening or detangling my hair - it was like not using conditioner at all. Will not purchase again. ... show more
