I am deducting a star because the sides have these indented portions, instead of being entirely flat. I am using this for bulk fermenting my sourdough bread dough. I love that it has the measurement markings that make it easier to determine the amount of rise that has taken place. I usually just make one loaf at a time, but this would be large enough for dough for two loaves. I also love that the lid as it is easy to get on and off, and if not pushed fully on, will cover without sealing so tightly as to cause a problem during proofing. The materials seems sturdy enough. Part of the outside has a textured sort of finish; possibly this is to make it less apt to slide around excessively - not really sure about this. I really wish they had made this with entirely flat sides, instead of having the indented areas. (Actually the larger part of each side is indented, but at the top there are these portions that extend out further.) When I am transferring my dough to the bench to work with it, it tends to want to stick along the lines where the sides transition to the indented portions. This is annoying, so I am still looking for a similar container, but with totally flat sides. ... show more

Purchased this item to use in my Coleman 72 quart cooler to keep thing cold but dry. It fits perfectly with or without the lid. Very sturdy construction and looks great. This should work great as you cannot purchase anything like this that I could find anywhere else. The cooler manufactures do not make inserts for their coolers for this purpose anymore like they used to. This should last as long as the cooler. No problem with the purchase and it was delivered in a timely manner. Very satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking for an insert for your cooler to keep things cold but dry then just take internal measurements of the inside of your particular cooler and find the right size with Tiger Chef. We needed a better storage system for bulk ingredients... and we absolutely love them... before purchasing, I went through a lot of the reviews that were posted... a good majority referred to the lids... but we have found that these lids fit perfect... you really do have to make sure that you are fitting them correctly and pushing down so that they are sealed properly... Once sealed, they stay sealed... No more large bags of flour and sugar sitting in the food closet... Now we have a professional feel in our pantry just like any restaurant...
