Okay so I have used my TideWe waders for a couple years now and I feel I can give an honest review at this point. First off, the first pair i received leaked slightly around the knee seam. it was a super slow trickle that took an hour or two for me to notice my leg getting wet. Oh well, i kept on fishing and then cleaned and dried them out before returning them. I returned them for a new pair (which I received before I had even returned the first pair, so talk about great customer service) and I have put these through hundreds of hours of being submerged now without any issues. I use these waders for tube fishing and spend hours with everything from my butt down in the water. I have also waded through flooded woodlands up to my chest without issues, although I did not slog through heavy brush or thorns, so hunters may need something more robust. The waders are relatively comfortable although I have not owned other brands to make comparisons to. They are fitted by shoe size and I find my boots are comfortable as long as I wear socks. In the warmer part of the year I wear board shorts or basketball shorts and socks, and during the winter I wear long underwear, sweats and thick winter socks as the boots are not insulated well and your feet will get cold if submerged in cold waters for long periods of time. The waders are easy to clean (spray them with a hose and a use a light scrub brush to remove any mud), and dry pretty quickly (I just hang dry mine) Boots are solid and comfortable enough for a rubber boot, with good trends (I have not slipped on any embankments or deep mud). I spent time looking around for reasonably priced chest waders and i paid around 90$ for these when I bought my pair in 2018 and it looks as though the price has gone down since then. While I am finally retiring my pair now as they have sprung another leak that I can't seem to plug above the right boot I am satisfied with my purchase overall and would recommend the brand as I have friends who owned more expensive brands and theirs wore out after 2 to 3 years of use as well. ... show more

- My height is 5’9 and weight 180lbs. - I’m a size 9.5 in sneakers so I ordered these in SIZE 10. They fit really comfortable. - THE BOOT felt a little big at first, but i just threw on another pair of thick socks and it was perfect. In my opinion it’s better if the boot fits a little bit loose because my last waders felt like they were the right size until I started walking on the beach, and I was in pain. Especially if you have wider feet. - The Rest of the Wader is Loose enough to easily move around and squat, but not too loose to make it look baggy. I bought these to fish at the beach so thats what matters to me the most. By the way, I tried on 4-5 different neoprene waders before deciding to keep this one. Some from Amazon and some from Dick’s Sporting Goods (which were a lot more expensive), but these are my favorite when it comes to the FITTING. I am planning on going fishing in the next week. I am a shellfish farmer growing oysters. I work in water averaging 3-4 feet deep all year round. I need something that will keep me warm and dry when the weather gets cold. Even though this product did keep me warm and dry , the fit was quite snug. My previous waders had a more loose fitting through the waist and chest area. It is difficult to wear a sweatshirt that will fit under these waders. ... show more

The phone case is legit. The boots fit great. The legs are tight, and the shoulder straps are adjustable, which is good. I'm 5'8.5" with a women's size 9.5 boot, so I thought the men's size 8 would be good, but it wasn't. The legs are too short, so it conflicts with my ability to move my legs. I hope TideWe will see this review so I can maybe swap out for a bigger size? Or maybe that won't fix my problem... I don't know. I really like these waders. I'm just bummed I can't safely go out and do field work with them (I survey snapping turtles, so I need a full range of motion in my legs). I've worn the same size in different brands of waders, and I haven't had this problem. I don't understand since everyone is saying they fit true to size. Send help. ... show more

Do not buy these waders. I have spent a lifetime in the water and have had many pair of neoprene and breathable waders and never had a pair fail as fast as these. During the first use of these waders, moving from one spot on the river to the next, a small brush against a bush and the largest hole I have ever seen in a pair of waders appears. The Neoprene is fragile. I have had cheap Hodgman neoprene waders last years and these did not last a day. Since the manafacturer would refer to this as a "brush with Mother Nature" I will attempt to repair them with the paltry kit it came with, but most likely I will just be out of 90 bucks. ... show more

I purchased these waders in March of 2019 for the purpose of digging razor clams in the surf on the sandy beaches of Newport, Oregon. They sprung a leak after approximately 12 trips to the beach. There is no identifiable perforation. I filled the offending boot up with water and saw that the leak is located approximately 2 inches above the seam where the neoprene meets the boot. This is where I can see water seeping out. This tells me the quality of the material is inferior. No holes. No perforations. It just seeps. I have no idea how it would even be possible to patch this. I’m disappointed. This is unacceptable and I am very, very disappointed. They worked for a while and I was happy. Now I am the opposite of happy. ... show more
